Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Cozad

Breakfast was good, eggs and sausage and waffles and cereal.

I asked for my $2 refund on the safe deposit charge (they put it on the bill and you have to ask to have it removed if you don't use it) and on my way out, it was not removed. On my way back (I stayed twice), it was removed. On the way out, I just requested it be removed as I turned in my keys and they said they would but they didn't. On my 2nd trip, I got an updated receipt and it wasn't removed. Not a lot of money, but it's the idea they charge an extra $2 for something most people won't use.

The rooms were comfy, the breakfast was good. Loved the coffee, Seattle’s Best brand. The staff we encountered were very friendly, everything was very clean. Also love the fact that they allow people to bring their dogs, with a small fee. Would definitely stay there again.

Staff was fantastic, clean rooms & comfortable beds. Only thing, thry charge to use the safe in the room, so if you do NOT use it be sure to have it taken off your bill.😁

It was a little tricky finding the road to the entrance of the hotel but no major problem. In spite of being close to railroad tracks (infrequent trains, however) and to the highway it was still quiet. We didn't use the kitchen but it would have been nice. It was reasonably clean with a few exceptions. Candy wrapper on the floor.

lavatory sink faucet was loudly squeaky and a bit difficult to turn on. The toilet seat wasn't completely secured and shifted from side to side. We were charged for a safe we never used. Shame on you Cobblestone. The light on the nightstand didn't work until I pulled out the nightstand and plugged it into the upper receptacle. The lower receptacle was dead. Breakfast, with the exception of the fruit, was typical high fat, high sugar, high simple carbs that you find in most reasonably priced hotels. The fitted sheets pockets weren't deep enough for the mattress. Came off.
