Beautiful and near the lake.
Very poor lighting at night I couldn’t find my way in the parking lot.

Great location. Not a lot of hiking or walking around property. Awesome room and view of Lake Cuyamaca.
Food needs help. Basic burger for $21 plus weak breakfast. They need a real chef.

Pretty location
Too much light in our room and outside at night. Noisy people after 9 in hot tub. Shower was super weak. Meal delivery was strange.

It’s beautiful if you want to watch stars. We were fortunate to catch the blood moon eclipse.
It’s pretty rustic so if you have any disabilities, that’s a tough one. It’s not that quiet if the people in the Jacuzzi are talking really loud and there’s a highway right below where cars are zipping by. Unfortunately the gym smelled like something very horrible and we tried to use the gym but got really nauseous. I had a towel with a big hole in it. The steam shower leaked all over the floor. It just falls in between that beautiful resort Retreat feeling and a motel.
