The location is excellent.
I knew it was an older home and that is fine, but it could use a new dishwasher and range. One of the beds on the upper level needs to be replaced or fixed as it had a very loud squeak situation with every movement. Upstairs toilet needs to be fixed or replaced. It spits water onto seat when flushed. Host needs to leave more cleaning products, and a rechargeable vacuum would be a fabulous addition so the floors can be cleaned and not just swept during stay.

The location was surrounded by beautiful scenery, and minutes from shopping areas and walkable distance to the Stanley Hotel, trails.
We weren't able to drive up the driveway due to icy patches. Had to park midway, but by the 3rd day we were able to drive up. Also, windows were not covered so keeping the area warm was a challenge, but we managed.

The location was so close to town; just a quick walk to everything. There were more beds than advertised and the kitchen was stocked with the most commonly used items. View of the mountains was incredible! Decor was tasteful, the living room and dining rooms were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels and blankets.
Hot tub lock was sticky and hard to open. We missed out on a few days because we couldn't get into it. It rained while we were there and water got into the basement so it was a bit musty smelling. No left over spices or other basic cooking supplies like salt and pepper. Those things are always nice to have because it keeps from buying all new.
