The room is nice and clean. The food and snack provided are the bonus. You can even find fresh eggs in the fridge. We had a great family night at Mala Retreat. Thank you Adrian and Christine

Property easy to find. Location was good. Very clean. Hosts are great and very welcoming. They are very thoughtful and have left milk, cereal, eggs, etc which would definitely save a trip to the grocery store if you only need a few bits and pieces.
We enjoyed everything. Originally there was going to be 3 of us and I think that might have been a bit snug as we did spend a lot of time in. Perfect for 2 people. However if you’re not spending much time in there and don’t require a lot of space there is one large bed, a single bed and a sofa bed so you could definitely sleep 5 in there.

We enjoyed our stay at Mala Retreat, Shiraz suite. it is in a quite and peaceful neighbourhood. The unit is very well maintained and clean. The pantry is awesome and well stocked with variety for breakfast. it is easily accessible to hunter valley and Newcastle.

Mala Retreat was spotless and perfect for our 1 night stay. Having great facilities from shampoo/conditioner, Panadol, body lotion to breakfast items. A beautiful cheese platter and a bottle of wine was a lovely surprise on our arrival.

Extremely clean and well presented. wonderful attention to detail by providing snacks, wine and coffee facilities.

The little extras such as the cheese and wine platter were lovely and the thoughtful little treats too. The information flow from booking to departure was excellent. The bathroom was amazing and wifi connection. Close to shops and entertainment but with a bush feel to it.
Our Suite adjoined another suite and although we received an email advising that there were other guests and to keep the noise level down there was not enough sound proofing to stop you hearing noise from the adjoining suite including the TV and conversation.
The room stated it sleeps 5 people however the dining table could only fit 2 people.
