The view of lake is wonderful. The house is horrible. The smell of mold, mildew is overwhelming. The house is run down and dirty. The appliances, stove and microwave were at least 40+ years old. But the most dangerous spot was the deck. Some soft floorboards, moves when you walk on it. It's an accident waiting to happen.

This was our second year staying at this property and the memories we make are endless. Something for everyone, you never have to leave!!!

We stayed in the winter for Ice Fishing. We had access to the lake for snowmobiles and great spot for fishing. Place is a little dated but everything was functional. We had a blast and would stay again.

Property is down a quite private drive and is located on an inlet, well off the main part of the lake which is nice. Water is pretty shallow and very clear - center of the inlet is maybe 4 ft deep or so. House and furniture is shabby but was adequate for us and kitchen is reasonably well equipped. Lots of towels available but renters need to bring their own bedding. Also it does have Wifi and a cable modem which wasn't entirely clear from the listing. Communication with the owner was minimal but adequate - instructions on getting the key etc. Dock is in rough shape and fingers are very high off water. One birth was leased to a neighbor for their boat but we were able to put our little sailboat boat in the other slip and it worked adequately for our needs. We had a great time!

House was great and everything I expected from a house on the lake. The central air was an addes bonus The yard and beach were the best I've ever stayed at. Cant wait to go back again.

Location, Location, Location!

The lot is beautiful and the views are beautiful. The location is perfect, being in a peaceful cove. Unfortunately, that is all I can say that would be positive about this property. The house is in dire need of attention. Between the rotting siding and rotting front window frame, letting in so much moisture, and the soft deck floor, this place will not survive another winter unless it's given some much needed care and repair. The indoor stairs going down into the lower level (basement) are steep, and narrow, with no hand rail. Very dangerous. The lower level (basement) is unfinished and damp and dark. Our party of 7 chose to completely avoid the lower level altogether and cram ourselves into the upper level, bcuz we were that creeped out by the conditions down there. Cupboards had pots and pans that had dried food stuck to them and ancient appliances that were also dirty, loaded with grease and food. Gross. ( Toaster oven and griddle) Ice trays in the freezer filled with yellow substance that made us gag. Septic system smells quite bad as well, most noticable outside. There is no care put into this place. It's very sad bcuz it sits on a beautiful lot.

The private sandy beach and the proximity to town are awesome.However, the house seems to not have been updated (much / at all) since the 80s and many parts are in dire need of repair. Everything was still functional, though. The house itself is quite basic with - for example - many of the beds being just mattresses on metal frames.However, it was perfect for us and our close friends with 4 adults and 4 children under 7. The many water toys in the shed were great and an unexpected bonus.I'd love to see this property get some TLC to make it live up to the awesome location that it's in.

The location is excellent with beach access and large yard. However, the house is not well maintained. The downstairs refrigerator was completely filled with food - some with expiration dates in 2018 when we arrived. Overall not very clean.

Property located in the perfect air. Wonderful beach and yard. Cove is quiet and water calm. Easy to get to, private, and we had a very nice time. Beds comfortable, kitchen is equipped. Living room very cute and baths fine. House requires updating. Dock needs replacement but we were able to use part of it. Handrails missing and some steps around the house were steep and too high to be just one step. Overall we had a really nice time. Thank you to our hosts!
