So I have to state that I am a beach and ocean lover. We’ve done the beach from NJ to NC. But my husband grew up on the Delaware River with motor boats and water skis. Our grandkids were suddenly old enough to try water sports (8-13) so we decided to try Lake Norman. The house was great for the 10 of us plus my sister and brother in law and her daughter and husband. Added up to 14! Since it was our first visit to Lake Norman, we had no idea of the size and location of the house. It worked out well for skiing, knee-boarding and tubing. Hardly any other boats around. The kids enjoyed the kayaks and fishing off the dock. The adults and kids loved the pool and the pool house was a great place to sit with a good book. Being one of the major cooks for the week along with my daughter and daughter-in-law, we loved that the kitchen was so well equipped! Best house yet. My husband showed he can still ski though the trick skis from his teenage years was a bridge too far. My son proved he could still slalom. Yes, it was a great week.

Loved this house! Room for all 17 of us and easily the most well stocked house we have ever stayed in. Kids loved the pool and fishing off the dock. Will definitely come back to Lake Norman!!!!

Badger Lake House provided the perfect spot for our family of 14 to vacation. The house was well appointed and provided plenty of space for our time together. We loved the large pool and the convenient access to the lake. The property manager, Emily, was very responsive and helpful. We highly recommend this vacation home.

Our family of 12, including 4 grandchildren ages 19 months to 7 years just spent a wonderful week at Badger Lake House. Everything was immaculately clean and there was plenty of space for the entire family. Our favorite spots were the spacious pool and pool house as well as the delightful screened porch off the kitchen area. Emily was very attentive with any questions and always responded quickly. Our family had so much fun we are planning on coming back in 2024 for another fabulous week! Thank you, Emily, for sharing your beautiful home.

This is our ninth vacation at Lake Norman and this house suited us well! Great accommodations- loved having 3 full size refrigerators! The movie room was a hit as well as the kids rooms! Thanks for great memories!

Emily was so easy to work with and responded to my questions right away. The house is beautiful and was spotless! The location on the lake could not have been better. It sits in a quiet cove with great neighbors. The pool house and dock house were so nice for my parents to be able to enjoy their grandchildren and great grandchildren without sitting in the sun all day. The house was stocked with everything you could possibly need. Highly recommend!

The home is beautiful, warm and inviting! The diving board and slide were a hit at the pool. We also loved the gate around the pool, providing extra security with little ones. The dock was great for fishing and we loved using the kayaks!! We loved the screened in porches for meals, games and hanging out!

The outdoor areas make this property! We absolutely loved the pool, fire pit, and boat dock. Kids played games in the lawn when not in the pool. Plenty of room for 8 kids and 8 adults. Could use a few extra towels for big groups, but overall great experience.

From the 5 outdoor spaces, to the large heated pool, to the lake views, to the lovely, tastefully appointed home with super comfortable beds, this property delivers on every level. We had a great time. The house is in excellent condition and in a great location. The heated pool is awesome and the boat house and dock are a nice feature. Excellent for fishing.

Lovely home on a small inlet of Lake Norman. Our family from different states gathered for our mother’s memorial service in a nearby church. It was a special week for the family gathering to celebrate the beautiful life of our mother. The home is well stocked and offers many amenities for seniors through infants. Having spent summers at a family home at Lake Norman in the 60’s, it brought back nostalgic memories of our childhood together. The only recommendation is that there needs to be a warning about the first floor stairs. Several older individuals fell coming downstairs from the 2nd floor on the bottom step. Fortunately, there were no broken bones. Other than that concern, it was a wonderful home on the lake.

We had 7 adults and 3 children that enjoyed a week long family vacation at the Badger Lake house. The home was sparkling clean, well stocked and super comfortable. We loved hanging out at the pool and rented a boat so took advantage of the dock as well. The kayaks were a welcome form of exercise! Highly recommend a stay.

This was a lovely property. The home was everything promised and then some! My family all had a great time enjoying the pool, kayaking and roasting s’mores. A little slice of heaven!

This is a beautiful home that was perfect for our family. The large pool was our favorite place to hang out, and the pool house was so nice. The home was the perfect in the evening with lots of space to gather for games and watching the Olympics together. We only have good memories to take with us after this vacation. The pool was fun for all ages. The listing was as promised . We rented a pontoon boat and had lots of fun out on the lake. I would recommend this property for all ages. The owner Emily always was prompt in her replies to any questions I had . The neighborhood was safe. A five star rating for sure.

We had a couple maintenance issues come up, but had communication and worked around them. House was very clean and worked well for our group. Pool house and boat house were great. Would recommend this house.

We do a family vacation every other year. Four families and the lake experience is wonderful for all ages. We fished from the dock and the kids were constantly on the lake boating and jet skiing. This house was perfect for our needs… the extra refrigerators are a big plus. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need. We cooked all our meals. The pool is large and the kids loved it. I give this house an A+ rating !!
