This place is great. Perfect place for a trip to the mountains. Roads plowed early after a night of snowing and the driveway is flat and easy to get in to. Very peaceful stay. Thanks for sharing your home!!

Cabin is deep in a Mi Wuk neighborhood. Best to make sure you arrive in daylight to be able to find it. 4 or 5 plug in air fresheners in the space, which were promptly unplugged and the cabin needed to be aired out b/c the smell was so strong. There’s an issue with static in the floor of the kitchen/back of the cabin which really upset my dog. Had to rearrange carpet runners and mats to make her a path after we figured out the issue—apparently dogs are very sensitive to static. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen supplies adequate. Cabin is cute.

Easy access to entry, ample parking for 3 cars. Clean and comfortable.

Highly recommend this cute cabin. The place was spotless, beds comfortable and in such a nice neighborhood. We brought our small dog and the yard was enclosed (he doesn't jump so the 4'fence was plenty high for him). If we come back to this area again, we qouod for sure rent this place.

My family has the pleasure of staying at this wonderful cabin. It is beautifully decorated with lovely and thoughtful items. The beds are so comfortable! It’s one of the best appointed rentals I’ve ever stayed at. Don’t skip on this one! Book it now.

The cabin was very inviting with a warm fireplace and festive seasonal fall decor. We enjoyed visiting on the deck since and we’re fortunate to have warm October days. The host was very responsive to my request when I needed to change my trip days since I had made an error on the booking date.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay in this "cozy cabin".
Very clean, very nicely decorated with mountain/nature decor.
Comfy and well equipped. We enjoyed the back deck very much.
Debra communicates very well and very promptly.
We would like to stay again.

From the time we got to the cabin til the time we left our stay was amazing. We had two couples and 4 children. Plenty of space and such an amazing time. Originally we were going to go to the lake at Pinecrest but the children had such a great time exploring and being at the cabin no one wanted to leave. Thank you so much for going above and beyond. Can’t wait to go back again

From the instant I submitted my reservation request, Debra answered responded promptly, and approved shortly after. Communication with her was quick, and pleasant. The cabin photos definitely do not show the true beauty and care put into it. I felt very safe and comfortable! Definitely a thumbs up!

Home Away in Cozy Cabin
The cabin is decorated exquisitely and professionally.
the beds were very comfortable and everything was as described. local info was helpful but a little dated 2020-21 schedule.
Entry was a cinch and check out a breeze for our party gathered for a wedding.

One bathtub upstairs and one shower downstairs. There's a bit of a drive through small village streets to get there from the highway. It was fine with a FWD car, but if it snowed recently you might want AWD.
The owner is efficient and responsive.
One concern is that another family was double-booked during our stay through a different service. We ended up being the ones who stayed in the cabin but we're not sure how the situation was resolved for the other party.

A totally fabulous Cabin just a short drive to Dodge Ridge or Pinecrest, furnished with more than everything you could ever need for a week’s stay, but, unlike many rental properties that feel furnished and decorated on the cheap, this cabin has a total lived in feel, with so many wonderful personal touches and truly everything you could need. Easily sleeps eight and has a totally wonderful layout and large family room area. We can’t wait to go back! Truly everything you could want and more.

Awesome cabin with great location!
Thank you so much for a great experience. Our family had a great time exploring Jamestown, Columbia, Twain Harte, and Murphy's from this perfectly located cabin in Mik-Wuk Village. We loved the bear decor and the kids had a blast hanging out and playing games. Thanks again!

We loved our stay at Deb's place. I agree with the other reviews - accurate listing and pictures, good location, lots of amenities - we didn't need to bring anything except our winter clothes. Nice gas fireplace, and Christmas decor for our stay since we came in 12/27. A short drive to Dodge Ridge to ski and we also drove to Columbia and Sonora for a great day outing. Good communication with the owners. We will be back!

Nice gas fireplace, and Christmas decor for our stay since we came in 12/27. A short drive to Dodge Ridge to ski and we also drove to Columbia and Sonora for a great day outing. Amazing cabin!!
Wonderful experience!! The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities that you would need. Debra was and is amazing to work with and was so kind and a great communicator! Highly recommend this jem in the woods!

Absolutely charming!
We loved everything - the cabin was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, comfortable and included everything we needed. We enjoyed eating and relaxing outside on the deck. Everything was top notch and we look forward to staying here again!

Perfect cozy cabin
Comfortable, sparkling clean, and totally charming. We loved hanging out on the back deck under the trees, and slept like babies in the super-comfortable bed. The delicious bottle of wine was a very welcome gesture! Can’t wait to come back for a longer stay.
