Beds are very comfortable. Outdoor onsen was beautiful! Food was delicious and appreciated the ride to Nikko every morning.

Satoshi and Elizabeth were perfect hosts and perfectly fluent in English. The accommodations were great, and the food was even better. We stayed two nights and had breakfast and dinner every morning and evening and could not have been happier with our meals. There were four of us traveling together and everyone in our party felt the same way. The evenings were quiet and relaxing in the beautiful house. Do not miss out on the food!

I really cannot think of anything that would have made the stay any better.

Lo staff è stato davvero eccellente, ci ha supportato moltissimo fornendo anche informazioni dettagliate sulle attività del luogo, i posti da poter visitare, i mezzi di trasporto, i ristoranti dove mangiare. Colazione abbondante, varia e molto buona. Consigliamo anche la cena che è stata veramente deliziosa. Le camere sono spaziose, pulite, arredamento curato in ogni dettaglio e davvero confortevoli, ci si sente come nella propria casa. La struttura inoltre è dotata di Onsen completi di tutto. Lo raccomandiamo e ringraziamo moltissimo Elizabeth e Satoshi per averci fatto trascorrere dei giorni bellissimi ed averci aiutato nei nostri primi giorni in Giappone.

We didn't reserve any meals in advance but the owner provided tons of recommendations that were wonderful. It was amazing timing that they were able to secure us a last minute reservation at a wonderful Wagyu place not far from their location. The food was impeccible! I really appreciate the proximity to most of the "things to do" in Nikko and the local recommendations provided in English via WhatsApp. The owners are very kind and accomodating. Highly recommended if you want to experience a B&B in a forest area with cute private onsens to take advantage of.

I would recommend that they provide robes for the private onsens. I was not aware that they wouldn't have them, or else I would have made sure to pack. But, we are also considered "local" to Japan since we live only 2.5 hour drive away. Most travelers coming in from out of Japan would probably not pack a robe to use. To make it the most relaxing experience, most people would not want to peel off their clothes, shower, soak, shower again ~ and put on that same clothes - especially after sweating it can be challenging.
