Loved the place. Clean and roomy. Very updated. Sent several questions to owner with no response. Code did not work on first date. Stood out in the heat. I realize these things can happen. When I finally got hold of Anthony he was very accommodating. Would stay again just Hope response would be better

The condo was spacious, clean, and comfortable! Felt like a luxury hotel experience. Wonderful having three full bathrooms. It was also nice to have the pool! Walk to the town center and beach wasn’t bad at all (10-15 min) but parking was also easy if you have a car. Overall, excellent stay!

The home owner was absolutely amazing. The location is absolutely perfect. You are a 15 minute walk from the beach and a 10 minute walk from all the restaurants.

It was such a simple walk to Folly Beach, gorgeous views, and so convenient to Charleston.
Check in was such an easy process.

Our stay at Turn of the River exceeded our expectations. The property and furnishings were lovely, and the location is convenient to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Highly recommended.

I brought my two teenagers and two of their friends here for a 3 night stay over Spring Break and was perfect. The condo was clean and comfortable with all the amenities of home and enough room to comfortably sleep the 5 of us. Folly Beach was a 10 minute walk across the bridge and we enjoyed several treks there during our stay.
My only complaint is actually more of a lesson learned for myself and anyone renting through VRBO. When we arrived our access code did not work. I had not thought to ask the owners for a direct form of communication and it took over an hour to get through the VRBO customer chat function to explain the situation and get phone numbers for the owners. Once I had those numbers the response and correction was swift. We had walked into Folly Beach for dinner while we figured out what to do and Tony called me just as we were being seated. His assurance that the code was now working made for a much more enjoyable meal as did the sight of dolphins swimming under the bridge on our walk back to the condo where we discovered that our code did indeed work.
We would definitely stay here again.

The property location is very nice, a short walk across the bridge to Folly Beach. The condo was spacious and fit our family well. There were a few cleaning and supply items that were shared with the property manager, who assured us that they would be taken care of. Correspondence with the property manager was very easy and responses were quickly received. We would bring our family back again.

I am so impressed with our stay here!
Typically when trying to accommodate 6 adults, quarters are cramped and resources limited. That wasn't the case at all here! We were all so comfortable and at home. It was clean, had plenty of room and lots of amenities.
Communication was precise and timely.
Checking in and out a breeze.
And at a good value as well!
We can't wait to be back!!
(Also we loved the balcony/porches!)

We had a wonderful time staying at this condo. It has 3 spacious bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, a pretty kitchen with ample counter space, a roomy dining/living area, a laundry room, a screened in patio and outdoor balcony. The decor is lovely.
The location was perfect. A 10 minute walk across the bridge (which is lighted at night) gets you to the heart of Folly Beach. Here you will find restaurants, live music, shops, and the Folly Beach Pier/Atlantic Ocean shoreline. Our favorite restaurants were Taco Boy, Martin’s BBQ on James Island, Woody’s, Pineapple Hut and the Lost Dog Cafe (delicious cinnamon rolls). It is only a 15 minute drive to Charleston.
Also, the owners are fantastic. Organized- all important information was received well in advanced. Honest - home was as described which is a great value for all of the amenities and location. Communication - quick response and super friendly. Above and Beyond- we really appreciated the start up supplies after the drive across the country.

This place was EXACTLY what the doctor ordered. Quiet, relaxing, and refreshing. The accommodations were great, the service was great, and the location is outstanding...close to local shopping as well as downtown Charleston. The unit was larger than expected, clean, and easily accessible. The owner was also very accommodating and responsive. I'd STAY here again if given the opportunity. My elderly Mom even enjoyed it. (It had elevator access. (even though the unit is on the 1st floor, the vehicles are parked in the basement; so you must access it via elevator or stairs).

The property was exactly as described. The 3 bedrooms and bathrooms made a very comfortable stay for our family. We enjoyed watching the tides change on the deck and the occasional dolphin passing by!

Farther from beach than we anticipated but it worked out. We rented a golf cart and didn’t know you couldn’t drive over the bridge until we paid for it. Would stay here again for sure.

We loved our stay at this property! The views were absolutely gorgeous and located in the best location…close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. The owner was super responsive and helpful with questions we had. There was plenty of room here for a family of 6, we would definitely stay here again!

Beach weekend
This place was perfect for me and my girls to stay for a beach weekend- it was about a 15 minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes walk downtown folly 20 minutes drive or a quick uber to downtown Charleston, But the pool was perfect for days we didn’t want to walk! The condo was so spacious and fit my 7 adults with no problems. The only downside was parking was confusing, it said you need a parking pass but there was none left for me to use and communication with the host was lacking. I reached out a few times with general questions and never got a response. Luckily everything with check in and guest parking went super smoothly so it all worked out! I would definitely stay here again!

This property was exactly as described. It was just minutes from dining and from Folly Beach. It is also close to historic Charleston. The property was well equipped with everything we needed. We especially liked that the bedrooms were spaced in such a way that everyone had complete privacy. The view from the screened porch was beautiful, and it was a pleasant area to enjoy morning coffee or conversation. The booking experience was great from beginning to end. The host responded to our emails and texts in a timely manner and was also available by phone. We were extremely pleased with this experience!

This property was a short drive to Folly Beach. It was in the perfect location. We could enjoy peaceful nights out on the patio looking for dolphins, and drive into the downtown area for dinners at fun locations! This property had everything we needed, including beach chairs and beach toys, an umbrella, and a wheeling cart for use on the beach. So nice to use, since we didn't pack our own! Three bedrooms meant grandparents, parents, and ten year old each had a separate space. It was very nice to have a washing machine and dryer in the unit. We loved our week here and it was only about a 20 minute drive into downtown Charleston, which we explored too. Wonderful and magical experience!
