A wonderful week of sun, fun, and family togetherness. The Villa was clean, and the property managers were extremely responsive to two small issues. Other family members were in a different villa - and we had a fabulous time. Highly recommend!

In the Villas community, this property is close to everything. Beach access right across the street. BHI Club a 5 minute walk across the footbridge. A short golf cart drive to the Conservancy, the Market and the Harbour. Lagoons a chorus of frog song at night- delightful, comfortable, and peaceful. Would definitely return again. Great spot for families.

It was a great stay overall! House was clean and comfortable. I will say that it did feel a bit cramped with 6 adults as there isn’t enough seating in the living room. But you can’t beat the location! So convenient to the beach, marina, market and BHI club. Golf carts are well maintained too! Will definitely book again.

This was a new experience for our family as some of us had never been to BHI before and the weather was perfect. The location was great for us to go BHI club. Accommodations were good for 4 nights

It’s a family tradition to spend Thanksgiving on BHI. Our family of 4 had a gracious amount of space. The kitchen provided everything we needed for our holiday meal. The property was very clean, has many recent updates and was exactly as pictured. A great central location, especially for walks by the water and the Christmas golf cart parade!! The homeowners were kind, communicated effectively and timely and made themselves available to us if we needed anything. We left with more wonderful family memories.

This Villa is simply amazing for vacation! Everything was acessible, clean, and welcoming. I can’t say enough good things! Everyone had such a good time!

Dead cockroach on bedroom floor. No keys in lockbox. Towels stained and dirty, lots of previous renters dog hair everywhere. Great property, bad housekeeping! Probably would not rent again, especially having to pay a hefty cleaning fee, when the property was not clean. Rather disappointed!

We have been coming to BHI for years, but this was our first stay in the Villas. Great location for BHI club and the marina.

We had the best experience at this vbro. The golf carts were so nice and the house was updated and had a great view! Would definitely rent number 40 again!

Enjoyed our stay. The property manager was very responsive when we had a few questions our first day on the island. The villa is a short walk to the beach, or you can drive any of the two golf carts. Having two carts made this stay very comfortable, especially since one cart is a 6 seater. My only suggestion for future is that I wish we had a few more convenience items. We did not have any hand soap or laundry detergent. Just something for future renters to keep in mind as these items can be expensive to purchase on the island. Make sure to bring some extras with you. Overall, we enjoyed our stay on BHI and would rent here again!

Edie and Katie are very responsive hosts and were on top of any question or request we made. The property is nice and just what you need for a low key time on BHI.

This is overall a nice place to stay and very convenient, especially if you will be utilizing the BHI Club, which is walking distance. Same for beach access which is very close but a short walk or cart ride through the neighborhood to get there. We had 2 adults and 2 twenty-ish sons stay, and the king bed main BR, and queens with their own bathrooms worked perfectly. We have not found many rentals with 3 BR that ALL have queen or larger beds AND their own bathrooms. The downstairs back deck is shaded in afternoon and evening. Upstairs deck gets a lot of sun. Enjoyed the rooftop deck for stargazing. Outdoor shower was great for post beach rinsing. The property is in the Villas and you are close to neighbors but they are positioned in a way that mostly doesn't make it obvious. The management was very responsive to a few items we brought up! The place could use a few small adjustments. A lot of the doors don't latch cleanly, and the main door is sticky and you need to close it pretty hard to get it closed. The beach chairs and other beach gear was a mixed bag of things that were useful and some that were old or broken or inconvenient (for example "camp" chairs instead of beach chairs - they were fine but bulky and susceptible to wind on the beach. We found the things we needed but it was disorganized. I think management will get rid of some of it based on our discussion. Overall: This is a convenient and nice place, great for family, and i think the "rough edges" will be worked out.

This was our third time staying in a VRBO property on BHI, but the first one at this home. It was by far our favorite so far! The location is perfect with the beach right across the street (walk or drive), the Bald Head Island club just steps away for pool fun, and a short golf cart ride up to Old Baldy and the shops. Edie and Katie were excellent to work with and always very helpful if we needed anything! The house was extremely clean and very comfortable! It was such an idyllic stay! We will definitely return!

Villa 40 was the perfect choice for our getaway with our best friends. The Villa was exactly as pictured in the description - clean, updated, and fully stocked with everything you need. We loved that the beach and BHI club were within a short walk, and the six-person golf cart was a bonus when exploring the island. Edie and Katie were so pleasant to work with. This villa was perfectly located near the club and all the amenities it offers. The furniture and beds were comfortable and the golf cart worked great! They loved the downstairs swing and outdoor porch/deck. The communication with the hosts was top notch!

Our group of 6 adults felt right at home in this comfortable well decorated villa. Not only did we enjoy the inside, but the outside porches made us feel like we had twice the space.

The unit met our needs but it needs some TLC....needs a good end of season cleaning, there are no bikes, many of the beach chairs do not work. My son is very sensitive to mold and could not sleep on the third floor ,at 6'5" slept on the sofa, also the upstairs shower leaks and drips all night. The downstairs garage does not have a working key so we had to keep our golf clubs in the living room. the master blinds are broken so you cannot keep out the sunrise. We finally figured out the coffee pot only works when the carafe top is locked. We could not reset the TV so that we could not download national channels. The caretakers were very quick to respond to our questions. A lovely island and golf carts were wonderful. thank you

We loved this property and the location! We would recommend this to any of our friends and family. There were plenty of kitchen supplies (pots/pans, utensils, mixing bowls, etc), beach towels, linens, and the list goes on.

Great access to South Beach and the BHI Club. Nice for people who like to exercise as the wynd is right outside of the neighborhood, so perfect for walking, biking, or jogging. House has everything you need and the golf carts were really nice. Good to have the 6-seater if you're with your family. Property managers were very communicative and super friendly.
