Nereides Apartments

I spent 3 lovely nights at Nereides apartments and couldn't have been happier. The host, Maria, was very friendly and helpful right from the beginning, even before I got there, all the way till the last day. The rooms were very clean and spacious, the view was phenomenal! The apartments are situated right at the beach, and every window/balcony overlooks the sea. I didn't cook while I was there but the kitchen has everything you would need to cook. Every room has a functional AC. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and also some small shops and bars. The bus stop is about a 5 min walk away. However, it still remains pleasantly quite in the apartment. I definitely recommend staying here, and look forward to returning the next time I'm in Corfu.

There was a very slight smell from the drains in the bathroom after taking a shower, but I've experienced this in every hotel/apartment I've been to in Greece. Compared to other places I've stayed at, it was very minimal and disappeared quickly. After heavy rains, the rain water in the small balcony took long to drain, but that really wasn't a problem for me because the bigger balcony dried fast.

La posizione strategica per goderti ottimi tramonti !

L’odore di fogna sgradevole nel bagno e la poca pressione della vaschetta del water

Perfectly located right on the beach with breathtaking sea views. Surprisingly quiet too — despite being surrounded by restaurants and hotels, this spot manages to stay remarkably peaceful. The amenities cover everything you need — not brand new, but well maintained and comfortable. The staff were excellent — fast to respond online, provided clear instructions for finding the place, and the cleaning was thorough and considerate.

The one thing I'd flag is the absence of mosquito nets on the terrace door — it meant we couldn't leave it open in the evenings to let in the fresh air.

The room was beautiful and modern, and the facilities were so fantastic we cooked a full meal one evening. The location is perfect, a stone’s throw from the sea and seafront restaurants, and only maybe a 2 minute walk to the main bit of town with the shops and other restaurants. The host is amazing and responded so quickly to any queries. Highly highly recommend the property to anyone.

The only slight (and it’s very slight!) issue is the shower head could use a bit of TLC as some of the individual jets point in all kinds of directions, but it didn’t effect the quality of the shower just more the random water spraying in to the rest of the room. Also (another personal preference more than anything), an in-room iron & ironing board would have been a fantastic added extra.
