The location was not far from the beach.

They canceled our first booking without warning and had to rebook and pay the same for a downgraded room. Guy seemed to always have a bad attitude and not very helpful. Room seemed old and dirty. No drinking water in room. The view from window just barely can see a very small part of sea between buildings. Wouldn’t stay here again.

It’s in a convenient location, in Barry Boutique’s building. But MAKE SURE to book with Barry’s and not with this place!!

1. No proper cleaning, only garbage changed daily. Bedding wasn’t changed once during our 12 day stay. We had to clean the floors ourselves, as no floor mat is provided for when you’re done showering, and that causes some mess. We found a very freaky looking bug behind our soap bar one day. 🤢🤢 2. Beware, they try to induce extra fees!! 😠 No face towels were provided, and if you use a hand towel to clean your face (makeup users) you will be charged 20rmb for damaging the towel. So you have to be very careful not to get the towels dirty, or be prepared to hand wash them yourself to avoid fees (that’s what we did). 3. SECURITY!! There was NO glass in the door’s peephole, so not only can people look right into your room (and see a decent amount, including the bed!) but they can also hear everything. So this ain’t the place to go if you’re looking for a romantic stay. 4. Again, cleanliness. One of us was in the room once when they came in to “clean”. They emptied the trash, and then the gentleman felt all over our towels with his bare (unwashed) hands and then decided they didn’t need to be changed and left them. Disconcerting, low budget.

The place has a nice view and a big balcony, 28th floor, central location, has hot water and cleaning service. But the lady comes around 10 AM.

This room is in Barry hotel but privately owned. There is no reception and you need to pay to an unknown person as soon as you book the room. That's scary. The pictures of the room are 10 years old. The building and the room are old as well. Smell from the sewage. Dissapointing. There is no iron or minibar as in description. The towels are very old. There is noise from the street at busy times: earplugs are recommended for sensitive people.

Perfect location, 3 mins to the beach, lots of restaurants, rent a bike points. Nice owner who helped us a lot. Beautiful view and comfortable beds.
