This KC property was in a great location and big enough for family from out of town to be under one roof for the holiday. We had plenty of space to hang out together and enough for when we needed a little time to ourselves. The property location was near groceries and liquor stores, short driving distance to great restaurants when we didn't want to cook; as well as sightseeing venues when we wanted a little adventure. All questions we had, from gain access and WiFi issues, were immediately answered and made our stay very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this property for a large family or family reunion. We can't wait for our next trip back to KC. If the Chiefs or Royals are playing while you're in KC, our family strongly recommends experiencing it at KC Live in the Power and Light District.

Nice property with good space to visit with family and friends.

As a group of older adults, we needed assurance that there was enough gathering room on the lower floor. A text to the host convinced us there was plenty. One sibling couldn’t negotiate stairs but we were again assured that the first floor accommodations would suffice. The rest of us spread out to the second floor where we found comfortable beds and rooms for all. One room had its own bathroom but the others had close access. Everything worked and any questions we had were answered promptly.

This story is way too long to tell. This is just the just. The pictures of this house on Vrbo are beautiful. My family was excited to get to stay here for a quick getaway before school starts. That changed as soon as we walked in the door. A dirty couch with all kinds of hair. Stained rugs and chairs. Cobwebs. Dust covering the stairs. Stuck food on the silverware. Hair on pillows. Hair on toilets. Crap on the side of the toilet bowl. The steps were slanted and felt like you could fall right through them. I tripped over the base board at the top of the stairs (why there's a door there, who knows) because it was extremely loose. Crazy locks on windows and cabinet doors. The light in the area of the stairs didn't work. We felt so disgusted and dirty after leaving this house, which we did NOT stay in. We couldn't even sit down, even the air just felt dirty. My kids sat in the car and there was a random guy trying to get into cars. We heard a horrid scream right down the street. Sounded like someone getting murdered! I was on the phone with Vrbo for over 2 hours, disconnected 3 times. An hour of that was spent sending them pictures which they kept saying they weren't receiving. So in the end they did nothing for us. Ended up spending our vacation money on a hotel. The owner of this house said his so called team did an "in depth" investigation and found nothing of concern pertaining to cleanliness or safety. The pictures of this house are completely fraudulent. Maybe 10 years ago it looked that way. The mailbox was overflowing so I'm thinking no one has even been there in months. Please do not rent this place or you will end up losing your money.

We stayed at this property for a reunion trip in Kansas City with college friends and their families from four different states. I’d say there are a few maintenance items that could use some attention, like the stairs up to the second floor, but overall, the property was clean and we had a great stay with plenty of space to spend time together. I’d also add that it would be helpful for planning for families with young kids if in the listing it specified which bedrooms and bathrooms were on which floor. Overall, we had great communication with the property managers and the house suited our needs perfectly.
