The property was very clean

A quiet and private location that was just what we were looking for.

Great place to stay - they were so kind and everything was clean.

An absolutely delightful property. Great location and full of character. Bathroom was very clean with lovely white towels and handmade soap from the lovely shop downstairs. The bed was very comfy and with lovely crisp bedding. We met Dani who was very friendly. HOWEVER a few small issues did impair our enjoyment of the house: some of the appliances (toaster, kettle) are old and poor quality, the shower head is makeshift, many utensils in the drawers are sticky or unwashed, no ice trays, very old and unappetising-looking selection of spices, salt and pepper, meagre remnants of tea and instant coffee, and an already half-used tiny tube of shampoo are provided “for guests to use”, and an old house book with out of date information scribbled out, which did not feel very welcoming. This was a lack of attention to detail, and the feeling that the house needed a deep clean (especially inside the cupboards), made us feel less cared for, as guests, than we have in other holiday rental properties where the hosts really have gone the extra mile in taking care of us. It is a shame as the house is wonderful.
