The property is beautiful and light filled with a view which is unmatched! Regular wildlife encounters including kangaroos, dolphins and wallabies from the deck. Well stocked and well maintained facilities made for a fantastic week away

Fantastic location with great views. We saw dolphins from balcony, plus wallabies and kangaroos out the back.
Ideal for 2 couples. We had friends from UK visiting for my husband's 70th birthday and the house offered a great base for us to show them around KI. Also close to the ferry for the early morning start back to the mainland!

Throughly enjoyed returning each day to relax on the decking and watch for the dolphins. Main bedroom had a perfect vista and very roomy ensuite. Main bathroom included laundry in shower area. Kitchen well equipped. We all recommend this lovely sanctuary.

We stayed at Ashendens for last 3 nights of our KI holiday. Great spot to visit the Peneshaw end of the island! Fortunately Ashendens had lots of windows as last two days were too wet to utilise the deck! From those windows we saw the dolphins playing and the Sealink activity. Out the back of property we saw a lot of wallabies. Thankyou to Helen for sharing you holiday home with KI visitors.

Upon arrival the house was very tidy and everything well organised. The accommodation was the best we had in many years. Spectacular views and spacious. We will definitely strongly recommend this place to friends.
