This was hands-down the best VRBO experience we’ve ever had. The property is beautiful and the location is fantastic; we were able to walk to many of the shops and restaurants in town because of this. Don is an absolute gem of a host. He met us when we arrived just so he could walk us through the property and answer any questions we had, and he was always available via text. He also purchased fresh fruit and wine as a welcome to us. All of the amenities were top notch, and everything seems to have been thought through from the perspective of someone staying here. As a result, the stay truly felt like an actual vacation, rather than just a list of chores to do in a different location. If you are considering staying here, just do it…you won’t regret it!

This property is just stunning. The pictures don’t do it Justice. It is beautifully furnished and so very well stocked if you like to cook. The gardens are amazing. We especially loved hanging out in the sunroom. Don is a gracious host and very responsive.

The mansion was exactly as advertised. Immaculate and well-appointed, too. And walking distance to the Stockade district and businesses like the Rough Draft bookstore, the Front Street Tavern, First Capital Poke, etc. Also, Angela, the property manager, was great. She met us at the property even though we were running late (traffic from the city) and checked in on us via text every day.
