A lovely quiet cottage you have all to yourself. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway I couldn't recommend this cottage more. Big enough for a family but cozy enough for just a couple. Full kitchen, updated bathroom, and multiple fireplaces for those cooler or rainy nights. Situated on a nice property with a small garden and surrounded by farm land with cattle and produce. Washing machine and freezer available in one of the out buildings on the property is a nice addition.

The master bedroom mattress was sat upon a flat board and was stiff.

Cottage was exactly as described very quiet, very quirky and packed with traditional features…location was perfect

There was no freezer , not a major issue but we took some frozen items with us

We loved the traditional style of the cottage. It was clean and very comfortable and in a nice quiet location for exploring Dumfries and Galloway

Nothing

Quiet, peaceful location. Charming, beautifully restored cottage. Lovely welcome pack. Underfloor heating and dishwasher were unexpected and nice to have.

Shower over bath very difficult for people with limited mobility. ( 86 year old mother ). Deep clawfoot bath was very hard to climb into.
