We had a lovely stay in this beautiful property. The location was excellent, with easy access and everything we needed close by, making our stay very convenient and enjoyable. The property itself was charming, combining the character and charm of a traditional building with modern amenities and all the comforts you could want. It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into making the space both comfortable and practical, while still retaining its original character. Overall, a wonderful place to stay, with a great location, plenty of amenities, and a lovely blend of traditional charm and modern convenience. We would happily stay here again.

Nothing.

Comfortable, cosy and warm. Brilliant location, lovely village and a great house.

Nothing

Loved our stay in Millie’s Cottage. It’s such a lovely little cottage with everything we needed for a week’s stay. The location is right in the centre of Finchingfield, a short walk to 3 pubs and 2 cafes. We hope to return again!

We needed a place for the family to stay near Stansted airport, and this appeared in the search. It's a simply beautiful and comfortable old cottage, near two pubs ( ones up the hill a bit). full of charm and simple and cosy. It has a new oiled filled heating system that as very warm everywhere. Wife loved it, kids were happy and the village is simply picture postcard. Worth staying longer and using this as a base to explore, sadly we was only there a few nights. I made a mistake of reading the hosts key box explanation's wrong, he sent me an email ,saying the keys are in the box. I could not find the box, because he had put after the box code, further down , that you need to go through the gate at the side of the house to get the keys . the key box is at the rear of the property. Charming really, its a place to return to, the Airport is less than 30 mins away. Very happy. I noted that they have a nice garden outside, that would be super if you wanted to sit out in summer
