It was right on ocean short drive to Galveston

They stack houses on top of each other no direct beach access dirty dishes in cabinet windows & mirrors in desperate need of cleaning dirty dust rag was left on master b/r bed water was yellow & undrinkable

Location was great. Inside was perfect set up for my family of five. Not beach front but really close.

Property management REALLY needs to spray for mosquitos. You cannot go outside without being eaten alive. It’s almost ridiculous. Not sure where the charcoal grill was so we just cooked on the stove. Towel rack in upstairs master bath was broken. Not a big deal. Had scheduled from Friday to Monday but didn’t arrive until 10pm Saturday due to death in family/funeral. Didn’t appreciate the inflexible policy for cancellation....won’t make this my top choice if we return to Surfside, or recommended to friends/family. The house, however, was great.....kind of bitter sweet to find a good location but not want to frequent it due to administrative bone-headedness.

The house was clean and very comfortable. Loved the deck going all around the house. Location was good. Access to house was easy. Grill downstairs in enclosed area. Walked to beach from house. Food on island close by. The house exceeded our expectations.

The only thing that hampered our stay were the little bugs the last night/morning in the kitchen. Like knats in the sink. Otherwise all was good.
