A hard review to write. The location is sublime. On first appearances the house is too. Evening meal was excellent. This place could be so much more if the eco credentials were more visible on the booking pages and made more customer friendly. Sadly did not enjoy staying here when it could have been wonderful.

The rules start before you hardly set foot in the door. No electricity so you can only charge phones. Don't spend too long in the shower only a quick wash (we were the only guests). Don't flush anything (not even toilet paper) down the toilet, put it in the bin (which didn't have a bag...) breakfast felt miserly. One slice of bread one slice of cheese per person then "is that enough would you like more?" Implies you shouldn't ask. Coffee from nescafe granules. Evening meal was good but only water with it, no ability to make or have any drinks in the place yet outside food and drink is banned. Oh, and no towels not even a hand towel, have to rent them extra.
