Amazing views, very nice pool and sun loungers, large rooms

Having read the reviews I had expected a much more welcoming atmosphere at this hotel and unfortunately didn't get that. The staff were unhelpful, whenever I asked for something (to buy a drink, to order breakfast etc) it felt like I was putting them out of their way. In the afternoons the staff turned off the music and were reluctant to sell us beers from the bar. I asked for fresh beach towels as ours got soaked in a storm but was told I would have to wait until housekeeping did their rounds. Our room was mostly comfortable but very noisy electronics clunking away throughout the night which meant I didn't sleep well. We were on our honeymoon and so I hoped for a more special and memorable stay but it was sadly very average.

Breakfast was great, served from 8-10:30 every morning. You can enjoy things from the buffet or order from their menu. The room was nice, though if you can I would recommend getting one with a sea view otherwise it just looks out into the carpark. There is about one carpark per room so we always managed to get a park. Staff were friendly and accommodating. We loved that they provided beach towels and daily housekeeping. Sunrise views were beautiful! There are two supermarkets just down the road and Skala has plenty of restaurants.

I would recommend having a car as Skala is a little distance on foot, as well as most of the main attractions on the island (not a fault of the accomodation!)

A fabulous boutique hotel...amazing staff,excellent breakfast with hot breakfast cooked to order as well as a brilliant buffet. Our apartment was fabulous ..panoramic sea views with it,s own hot tub. Spotlessly clean,fresh towels and bedding provided during our 7 day stay.We could not fault anything.

Just amazing. Communnication before arrival was fast and friendly. We arrived quite late and were met but a member of staff who was on night duty, shown our room and given all the information we needed, Room was clean, nicely decorated, comfortable and modern. Also cleaned everyday with fresh towels for bath and beach. Balcony was lovely and overlooked the pool and sea. The included breakfast was all layed out so you can help yourself with an additional choice of hot dishes from the menue included. Pool was perfect temperature. grounds were pristine and watched over by a little friendly dog. If you needed to check out before you left the hotel there were lovely showers and loos to use to get changed and washed if needed and with only 12 rooms it was never crowded anywhere, felt like a private villa.

Very little! you may want to bring some extra coat hangers and a bottle of water or something for a snack if arriving late. We reckon the closest supermarker was about 15 mins in each direction, uphill comng home.
