Location was secluded but within easy reach of Whitby, Runswick Bay & Staithes. It has the most amazing views, surrounded by fields of sheep & cattle. The lodge was warm, cosy & comfortable with so much space inside & out. The furnishings were comfortable & beds were super comfy. Cushions, curtains & blinds had an animal theme. 2 bathrooms one downstairs & a downstairs bedroom. Kitchen well equipped with everything you might need.
Hosts were very quick to respond to any queries.
Just one little niggle gate at bottom of drive needs attention.

It was really lovely. We loved the location and being a property that featured in Heartbeat it was right up our street.

Amazing location! The views are superb, the house is very well equipped and comfortable 👌Lovely decor which is very inkeeping with the origins or the house. The games and books were a great addition. We completed 2 of the jigsaws over a couple of evenings 😀 We had a delicious meal at The Board Inn, around 10mins away in Lealholm. Excellent location for visiting Whitby, only 15 min drive away. We really enjoyed our stay in the peace and quiet, very relaxing 😌 Thank you!
A little muddy around the yard as it's been wet recently and we had to park a little away from the door due to the number of cars we had. Some diesel or oil had been spilt on this which we were conscious not to trail inside or into our cars.

Me my husband and 2 kids stayed here for a weekend we all absolutely loved it. Superb location amazing views, everything you need in the house. I will definitely be going again. The house is so lovely even in the snow! Couldn't of chosen a better place to go. And staff so friendly and helpful very impressed all around. Love that it is dog friendly too as our labrador loved it also ! Thank you
