The property description does not disclose that the owner lives on the property and likes to chat with the renters. We were not informed of this until we received the check in instructions, which unfortunately I didn’t read until the day of our arrival because I wasn’t expecting any new information. I have rented numerous houses via VRBO, and have never run into this before. When I contacted the manager to suggest that they should have disclosed the information up front, I received several rude emails suggesting that it was my fault for not reading the check in instructions sooner. There are too many other nice rentals out there to put up with dishonest and rude people.

The home was very nice, we loved the open layout and design. Everything you need is provided, we used the iron and mini ironing board, the blow dryer, pots/pans/plate ware etc. There’s a lot available. The couches in the living room are super comfy, and the water pressure is outstanding. We particularly loved the master shower. The location of this home is great, close to downtown and lots of convenience stores/restaurants near by. A Safeway shopping center and restaurants are within walking distance, which we took advantage of on multiple occasions during our stay. We didn’t read the description carefully enough so we were glad we got a reminder not to park in the driveway as the owner lives on the property. Their space does not interfere at all with your stay as it is completely separate; however, it appears the owner’s unit sectioned off a part of the backyard for their private space. There is still adequate room, but the photos make it seem like more lawn space is available. I was a little disappointed with the patio set (cushions were too small and not clean)… I spent about 10 min sweeping the area of leaves which I felt should have been done prior to arrival. In addition, the gas bbq is in need of a cleaning. We had to transfer our tri-tip to the oven because of all the grease build up/fire. Overall, the backyard could use a little tlc (and more lighting), but it didn’t hinder our experience too much. The gas fire pit and gazebo made for a lovely after dinner hang out spot.

The house is located about 2 miles from downtown Santa Rosa, so not exactly "walkable" for some people, but it was a quick drive to get there. Thank you very much! We had a great time!

The house was cute and comfy and was equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay in Santa Rosa. The place was great. There was one level. The area was nice, clean, and safe. The house was well-equipped, furniture was comfortable, and the appliances worked well. We stayed for a week in the month of July. The internet speed was good for our purposes. The TV was a smart TV but there was no cable access. We brought our own fire stick to access our online streaming subscriptions. The place did not have a garage for our use, but the on-street parking was sufficient. The master bedroom was nice and had an attached bathroom. The second bathroom was not attached to the second bedroom but was off the hallway. The whole house was very nice and looked newly remodeled. Both bedrooms had queen beds and were comfortable. The laundry area was off the kitchen. The location of the house was great. It was close to all the Sonoma wineries. We made many trips to that area to visit wineries. We also made excursions to the coast and the Sonoma Raceway for the drag races. One day we just walked a few blocks to nice Mexican restaurant and picked up some Italian food to enjoy at the house. The backyard had a covered sitting area with a fire pit. We would highly recommend this rental and would definitely book it again when we return to this area.

We are long time Santa Rosans returning for a visit, and loved this place. It’s every bit as nice as it looks it the pictures. Very comfortable for two couples. The location is convenient to major arterials but is in a quiet neighborhood that is very nice to walk in. Clean, well appointed and stylish. We use VRBO quite a bit and this was one of our all round nicer rentals.
