Nice place to stay
Lovely place. May e some sort of outside gazabo.

Well laid out. Comfortable bed and sofa. Everything you need. Very clean
Too many ornaments and stuff around - found it a bit overwhelming! Proximity to entrance and barrier made it a bit noisy

We stayed for a weekend break beginning 7th November 2025 and it was amazing! Every room is spotless, cosy, tastefully decorated, and very homely. The location is perfect and peaceful, and perfect for exploring locally or further afield like the Lake District or Yorkshire Dales. A massive thank you to our host Margaret too. Her professionalism leaving no stone unturned with her attention to detail is astounding. Overall, a perfect weekend in every way possible and I'm sure we'll plan to return in the near future.
