REGIOHOTEL Wittekind Burg

Really excellent, best quality/price ratio I've ever seen!!!!

There is a dedicated place outside for the bikes, but that's outside with no camera surveillance. So.... you know the place is quiet and safe, but... if you are riding a 7k bike you're not totally at ease...

The rooms were very good and the breakfast was excellent. The location was very handy for the motorway and there was ample parking.

The constant e mails for months prior to our arrival, many of them repetitive. I was sure that I had filled out the details on line at least twice for each room, but I did not take my laptop on holiday. The booking in process was awful. I do not have a smart telephone, so my wife had to search for e mails, one for each room, so that she could find a code to access the keys. At the end of a long day's drive we just wanted to get into our rooms. My wife also had to help two other groups of travellers, who were having problems with the system. The whole remote entry had me a little on edge before hand, as I was naturally concerned that with no staff there might be a problem with at least one of the rooms. Ultimately it all worked out, but it would have been so much easier with someone on reception. In addition a receptionist provides the welcoming atmosphere and the reassurance that any additional needs might be met.

It's our second time in Regiohotel and we love staying there. It was only one night but this hotel could be perfect for longer stay too. Good location away from the hustle and bustle of the city. No staff member to welcome us but the online check in and key pick up from a key locker was very convinient. Safe parking is safe, with a lot of places. It would only be nice to have access to the EV charger. Unfortunately there was no one to ask and we wanted to use it. In general we had great stay, thank you

Clean, comfortable, value for money.

Lacking nice atmosphere as it used to have years ago,
