Good location, coffee shop downstairs and many options of restaurants.
20 min walking from old town.
Room and bathroom are very clean.

Great value for money. The complimentary coffee and tea are a very welcome touch. Check in and out were problem-free. The en suite bathroom is very convenient considering that you'd otherwise need to put in your code every time you came back to your room.
What you've read about the lack of soundproofing is true, both between rooms and flats, and regarding the window. All it takes is one loud motorcycle or car (there are apparently many in Riga) and you wake up, earplugs or otherwise. The cleanliness was slightly disappointing (black stains in the shower, hair on the bed and bathroom etc). Some more space to leave things in the room would be great (like an extra chair or something).

Big room with cupboard to store your items. Location is very close to cafés, restaurants and pubs.
There is no lift and also room could be facing the street, so there is going to noise. Not suitable for light sleepers. One small negative thing in this amazing place is the moods in the shower area. A 5€ cleaner solution could be used to remove it which can make things better. But no big complains.

The price was incredible. Room was huge and I didn’t mind the bathroom being separated from the room. The bathroom was not the most clean, the shower didn’t drain and the silicone in the shower was a bit moldy. The location was comfortable and close to most places I visited while staying. Also the room was pretty loud considering the windows were facing the Main Street.
