We had a very nice stay! Felicity was very responsive. We had difficulty getting in when we arrived (ended up being an unknown internet outage in the area affecting the lock system). I contacted Felicity. She immediately responded and had a solution. She investigated the reason for the difficulty and had a work around. The rest of the stay was lovely! Our kids (teenagers) thought it was the coolest house ever! 😊. The area is very nice. It was very cold when we were there, but that did not stop us from walking to nearby coffee shops and restaurants. Even got a run in on a very nice path around the lake. Would highly recommend this house and hosts if needing a place to stay in Uptown, MN.

The home was spacious and just as described. It was within walking distance to restaurants and shops making dinnertime after a long day so much easier. The beds were also incredibly comfortable.
The host left a welcome note along with some chocolates which I thought was a nice touch!

What a perfect place to stay. Great location, great beds and linens and fully stocked house- including kitchen and bathrooms. Would definitely stay here again instead of a hotel on campus.

We needed a roomy, safe place to stay for our son's wedding weekend. This property fit the bill! Everything was easy to use and the kitchen was very well stocked. The house was clean and welcoming. We enjoyed all of the lovely plants. Everyone had space to spread out when needed but great common rooms too. We enjoyed daily morning walks around the lovely neighborhood. It was a very special weekend.

The house was perfect for our short golf trip to Minnesota. The location was walkable to good restaurants and a short drive to downtown.

The house was lovely and accommodated us perfectly. Our host Felicity had a beautiful vase of fresh flowers there on our arrival. The kitchen and bathrooms were well-supplied. After we checked out, something was found that was left behind by a family member and Felicity reached out to us to see if it was ours and we agreed on a simple solution to return the item. She definitely went above and beyond!

We loved the old home. The decorations were modern and beautiful. Loved the plants. Wished there was a bathroom on the main floor but the bathrooms were nice. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch. Thanks.

Great location, great property, and great owner, what more to ask? House was perfectly as advertised and great communication with the owner throughout and leading up to the trip. Being able to rent a house with a high chair and a pack & play made traveling with an infant for the first time a breeze!

This property has everything you need plus things you didn’t even realize you did! The house is only a few blocks from the lake in a wonderful neighborhood. It’s only a few blocks to restaurants, grocery stores, and coffee shops. The property manager had great communication and was very accommodating to all of my requests. We would definitely be back. Thank you!

The house was wonderful and in a great location. Impeccable attention to detail with nothing overlooked. The decor was lovely as well. I would highly recommend for a large group. This was a genuine home away from home.

We were at a family wedding and family members stayed in various homes over the week. After seeing the others', I was so happy we stayed at Felicity's home in Uptown. It is a FABULOUS location, very close to Lake Calhoun. Sunsets there were gorgeous. Tons of restaurants and a fun vibe in Uptown. The house was immaculate, and we are all still raving about the mattresses. We loved having morning coffee on the porch. The kitchen was well set up, communication was excellent. We loved the historic vibe of the home, while having been renovated to fit today's needs. I would LOVE to stay here again!

Our family of 6 had plenty of space in the beautifully redone home. We loved the area; walked to dinner, ran and biked the trails around the lakes. We only had 2 nights here but would have loved to stayed longer. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was stocked. We had just been on a houseboat in Voyageurs National Park for 5 days so being able to do some laundry was an added bonus. Overall, would highly recommend this property.

Our family of 5 stayed here for 4 nights and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Beautiful historical home has been remodeled with modern conveniences. Very nice bathrooms, house was clean and beds were very comfortable. We slept great! House has everything you can possibly need. There are 3 sets of stairs (4 levels) in the home. Basement level has full bathroom, laundry and 2nd living room. Main level has living room and kitchen. 2nd level has 3 bedrooms (2 queen rooms and 1 with 2 twins) and 1 full bathroom. Top level (attic) has a bedroom with 2 queeen beds. We stayed in July and the top level was a little warm, but has it's own window ac unit. Owner was very helpful and responds quickly. Definitely recommend staying here.

We had such a great time staying here! The house was clean and had plenty of room. We were close to the beach for the kids and close to restaurants. The host was friendly and accommodating. Very responsive and offered wonderful recommendations!

The location is awesome (lake, bookstore, grocery store all within walking distance). The host/co-hosts weee also very responsive and came over quickly oh a Friday night when we had an issue. We had planned to use this house as a home base to see a show at the Guthrie (but Covid canceled the show) and to do some outdoor activities (but the -20 temps held us back on that). So, we stayed in a lot. They could add another comfortable chair or 2 in the house somewhere (there is comfortable seating for 5). Also, bring your slippers if it’s winter and you want to cook in the kitchen (but that also could have been due to the -20 outdoor temps too).

This place is the best! Lots of care and thought went into making this place comfortable and lovely. Lots of steps made it easier to get our steps in! Just as beautiful as you hope it is and sparking clean. And the location cannot be beat!! The trails around the lakes!!!!! Loved everything about our stay.

Awesome host, lovely place, convenient location
We had a delightful stay and Felicity was an amazing host. We loved the area: plenty of opportunity for beautiful walks and great access to groceries/restaurants. The home was perfect for our group staying there for a family wedding. Our only concern was the uptown area did not feel safe after dark, so we did not feel comfortable walking in the neighborhood once the sun went down. But during the daytime it was great and the home itself felt safe. Would surely consider another stay at any property of Felicity's! Thank you!!

The house is spacious, light, and nicely decorated. The kitchen is fully equipped if you want to cook some meals. Otherwise, you can walk to restaurants, ice cream shops, etc. We went to the beach, which is a few minutes away and so beautiful! We will definitely stay again!
