A magical stay. The villa with jacuzzi was excellent and a perfect break between cities. The staff was super polite, engaging and enthusiastic. The goats too! Room was great. Spacious and had all things you can ask for. We got to see the top of Fuj-sani on multiple days. Even groot the breakfast table. The food was just too much.. we were only two and it was like for an army of 6. Beef, porc, chicken, fish, mushrooms, vegs, ..... 🤤 The sounds of a cricket close by at nigh while reading a book at your terrace is magical. I have never slept so silently this vacation. Or maybe in the past few years.

There are some light activities inside the resort, however being there without a car may limit activity if you have not booked activities up front. We were there apparently on sports weekend, which is a very very busy weekend for Japan. Accepting the situation, we took a walk down to the lake and got a picture of a unique Fuji view from a hill. No other tourists and no social media crazy people. It was perfect. So nothing to dislike 😝

The staff were helpful and it was easy to navigate around. The onsen was decent for small group. The BBQ dinner was a good experience.

Will be good if there’s a small shelter at the glamping tent before entering the tent during rainy season. The door to the tent is not easy to open. Good to explore more activities for guests that are there to experience glamping.

We stayed in one of the villas and it was a wonderful experience. The facilities were brilliant, spa bath, outdoor and indoor fireplace, comfortable beds. The staff were extremely helpful, kind and courteous. We opted for an included breakfast which was extremely tasty and still retained the glamping experience with individual cooking burners at your table. The onsen was a definite highlight. We didn’t get to use the activity area very much but we still had fun.

Dinners were very expensive ¥8800 per person and with limited choice. You are not allowed to bring outside food or drinks into the complex so we never enjoyed a meal at our villa. Privacy was an issue, it’s easy to see into our particular villa so it felt like staff and other patrons were always walking past and casually looking in.

Excellent location; the glamping site is beautifully designed

You were supposed to organise the barbecue yourself; I understand that you want to give tourists the chance to have that experience, but there should have been an option provided by the hotel and its staff, rather than just a ‘do-it-yourself’ approach. Furthermore, the bungalow area wasn’t great, and the hot tub in the villa we were moved to (with the corresponding upgrade) was broken. It could have been exceptional, but the details leave a lot to be desired.
