Prachtige omgeving met fantastisch uitzicht, heel groot zwembad. De accommodatie is van alle gemakken voorzien, inclusief dagelijkse schoonmaak en was service.Matteo, Emma en Giancarlo doen er alles aan om je verblijf naar wens te laten verlopen. Goed om te weten dat de familie op de achtergrond aanwezig is. Wij vonden dat heel plezierig, maar je bent dus niet helemaal 'privé' als je het huis huurt.

Casa Pietraia was outstanding in every possible way. A charming farmhouse complete with three Queen bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom with top quality bath products and large soft towels. Lovely furnishings, colorful walls and historic wall art and pottery. Equipped kitchen, dining areas, comfy living room area with sensational 360 view of rolling hills of Tuscany. And the infinity pool! Gigantic, clean, pristine and inviting and our salvation in the recent heat wave. The grounds of the villa are lush with olive trees, plants, trees, and flowers. There are multiple seating areas with tables, chairs and umbrellas for shade plus a great sunset conversation pit where we witnessed the most fabulous vibrant sunsets. The hosts of this villa were so very welcoming, friendly, generous, engaging and helpful. We had the Tuscan dinner prepared by Chef Emma our first night there and can easily say it was the best meal we had while in Tuscany! Giancarlo keeps the pool absolutely immaculate and perfectly balanced. Matteo was the ultimate host/concierge from the time we booked the villa until the time we left. No request was unreasonable, no ask impossible, Matteo has a contact for ANYTHING you could want and went out of his way to make our trip what we had hoped for. Starting with airport transport for our group of six in the 9 passenger van, then making restaurant recommendations and reservations for us. We did the olive oil tour and tasting with Matteo where we got to walk through the olive trees and learn about their care, harvesting and how the olive oil is made. He is a veritable font of information and most entertaining as well. We also did a wine tasting tour with Matteo in the Chianti Classico area. He arranged all of it and drove us all around. We have never experienced this level of care, service and helpfulness as we have at Casa Pietraia. An absolute gem and the perfect location to experience Tuscany!
