ProsExcellent, centralized downtown location with easy access to restaurants, attractions, and entertainment. Large windows that provide amazing natural light throughout the space. Gorgeous city views from the windows. Spacious layout that accommodated our group well. Communication Areas for Improvement A long blonde hair was found on one of the bed pillows upon arrival. The hallway bathroom would benefit from a comfort-height toilet, comfort-height sink, and a more accessible light switch. The bathroom ceiling appears to have significant water damage and looks like it could cave in, creating a safety concern.🦠 The bathroom tile, grout, and caulking are cracked, deteriorated, and appear to have mold and mildew in several areas. The bathroom shows numerous signs of deferred maintenance, including poorly patched walls and ceilings, uneven paint, and unfinished repairs. The toilet base has significant staining and appears to have rust or water damage around the floor seal.🪵 Trim, baseboards, and caulking throughout the bathroom are cracked, chipped, and deteriorating. The TV in the secondary (non-owner’s) bedroom did not work, so we were unable to use it during our stay. The air conditioning unit in the secondary bedroom is excessively loud, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The pullout sofa caves in when you sit on it and does not appear to be stable or comfortable enough to use as either a sofa or a bed.🪑

Clean, comfortable and easy to access. Was a terrific location, with communicative and welcoming hosts.

It is a 3 overall and not for the place but the owners. 5 stars: great part of town, very convenient building, easy access, walk everywhere, park, lake, dining options, etc. super-comfy king beds, perfect 2/2 space for me and my adult son. 1 star: owner communication. Wi-Fi didn’t work from the very beginning. Even though we were there for holiday, I needed to do meetings, and my son needed to finish college assignments. Contacted owners immediately. Got a few insulting responses, such as is your equipment plugged in. Afterwards got an alternative Wi-Fi connect, from six floors away in a high rise building, it worked for minutes and then would fall off. After that, silence with owners. I tried to call, the number listed is NOT IN SERVICE. I also asked them to call me, which they never did. The next morning, after hotspotting my meetings off my phone, I called Vrbo. They also could not get in touch with the owners, they were supposed to call me back, and never did either. Then both owners and the Vrbo kept sending me feel good messages as to how wonderful they hoped my stay was and if I had any issues at all… We did have a really good time, the apartment is great, however, I am a VRBO and other rental owner myself. You don’t ignore your guests. Period.
