Ash was a great host, the house was amazing. We had 10 adults and a few kids and there was more than enough room to handle all of us and more. I would recommend this house to everyone and I’ll definitely be staying here again in the future

Wonderful property and location for our Thanksgiving! The house was very spacious for 15 of us, ranging in ages from 72 to 5. Adults and kids thoroughly enjoyed the amenities. Ash was very helpful and always available to answer my many questions prior to arrival to ensure our family had a great stay. The grandkids especially enjoyed the theater room and the many activities available at the house. Everyone wished it was warm enough to enjoy the lake and wants to return in the summer time. The overall response from everyone was it was an awesome and perfect place for our time together. Thank you for sharing your house with us!

My family held a reunion on Lake Anna in early October. There were six couples attending the reunion. The house was a perfect retreat for our long weekend.
First, the kitchen is perfect for cooking meals. There is every pot, pan, plate, bowl, cup, glass, utensil you can imagine.
The living room is perfect for chatting, or watching a game or a movie.
The downstairs living area is very spacious and has a second kitchen. Having an extra refrigerator was wonderful.
We enjoyed watching Netflix in the theater room. That space is very cozy.
The bedrooms are very comfortable. The master suite is AMAZING. The second master, located on the lower floor, is very nice.
The screened porch and deck, with the great views of the yard and lake, were perfect for morning coffee and meals.
The new boat house and expanded deck were perfect for fishing, lounging on the deck, and launching the kayaks and paddle boards.
We LOVED our stay at this beautiful home. We will definitely be back for another visit. Thank you for opening your lovely home for our family celebrations.

Planned a friend group getaway to relax and have fun, and this property was perfect! There were 14 of us and the house never felt crowded. Cooking space was great, as well as having options for how to spend one’s time. We brought everything with us and didn’t even have to leave the property for anything. The host was super responsive and helpful. Thank you for a lovely weekend!

This was by far the best vacation property our family has ever stayed in. We never had to leave the property to enjoy our vacation — everything adults and children needed was in the home and on the premises. Our children were never out of the lake water or away from the dock, swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking, and more. At night we enjoyed movies in the theater room. There was ample room for our large family — no one felt crowded. And the property is immaculate. We also can’t speak highly enough of the property manager, Ash. We booked a year out, and throughout that year — and during our stay — Ash was always available to answer our questions and make sure we were comfortable. He was also the best property manager we ever worked with. Wonderful stay!

What a great place-a beautiful, spacious home, porch for grilling and dining, firepit, theater room and an awesome boathouse. Our family gathering of 16 had the best time and made plenty of fun memories! Everything was clean and well maintained. Owner and property manager respond quickly to any questions or requests. It is located on the private side of Lake Anna and during the week there was very little water traffic. Made paddle boarding and kayaking easy. We all had a fulfilled week! Great place!! Highly recommend!

This was our second summer staying at Ash's lake house the first week of August and we had a great week-long stay. We were a large group (4 families with kids ranging from 1 up to 13) and everyone loved it. The addition of the boat house from last summer was fantastic. We can't wait to come back!

Second stay at Tradewinds
Tradewinds is such a great property for a group. This is our second stay and we’d definitely come back for a third! The house is spacious, clean and has activities for everyone. The addition of the boathouse and renovated dock was great—we stayed outside most days. Wonderful stay; would definitely recommend.

Great Stay
During November, this beautiful house hosted a 3 generation family. EVERYONE enjoyed the openness of the floor plan (a plus for the limited mobility guests), the dock where the older children spent many hours fishing (YES, they caught many!!), canoeing on the water, evening hours around the fire pit, the media theater, and the VIEW (no matter what time of day)!!! LOVED every minute and everyone was reluctant to leave. Would love to return to this piece of paradise.

My extended family enjoyed our stay at Trade Winds house on Lake Anna, Virginia. The house offered all the amenities for my brothers and sisters, and their spouses, to share a wonderful long weekend together. With six bedrooms, six bathrooms, two kitchens, two living areas, a theater room, a screened porch, a deck, a fire pit by the water, a dock, and a small beach, we had everything we needed for a great vacation.
The house is beautiful decorated. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked. There is a huge propane gas grill on the deck.
There was plenty of space for six couples to relax, cook, share stories, and enjoy spending time together.
With the availability of two kayaks, two stand-up paddle boards, and a paddle boat, we spent countless hours in the water. We even fished off the dock and caught (and released) several fish.
The house is located on the private side of Lake Anna, which meant very little water traffic. We could sit on the deck, or the screened porch, or at the fire pit, and enjoy the peace and tranquility of the lake.
I highly recommend staying at the Trade Winds house. It was an amazing weekend.

Great stay at the Lake in Bumpass VA! This was a weekend trip with our family to stay here for the first time. The home was beautiful and came with everything that we needed for an amazing weekend on the lake. We loved the paddle boards and peddle boat that were available to use on the water. The home was very clean with plenty of kitchen utensils and clean linens to use. We look forward to making another trip back to the area.

Peaceful property
It was a pleasure for our family of 8 adults, 4 children (10 and under) and 2 infants to stay here for a few days in August. It is spacious and has much to offer in the way of entertainment, with pool, ping pong and foosball, and a board game room and theater indoors. Outdoors there are kayaks and paddle boards, so much to enjoy on this beautiful, serene portion of lakefront. The kitchen had most everything we needed, with a little searching. We would have enjoyed a bigger space outdoors for all of us to gather to eat. There is a screened in porch that may accommodate 6-8 snugly, and an outdoor area on the deck with a table that can accommodate about the same number. The furnishings indoors are basic and comfortable, but slightly worn around the edges. I'd recommend it for a large family or friends who want to enjoy a lovely getaway on a lake.

Great stay at the Lake in Bumpass VA! This was a weekend trip with our family to stay here for the first time. The home was beautiful and came with everything that we needed for an amazing weekend on the lake. We loved the paddle boards and peddle boat that were available to use on the water. The home was very clean with plenty of kitchen utensils and clean linens to use. We look forward to making another trip back to the area.

Home beautiful and accommodations fit our family of 17 comfortably! Owner very helpful, maintenance issue addressed immediately and resolved! Very happy with everything,especially the lake! Love lake Anna!
