I stayed in the Captains suite on 4/14/23. immediately walking into this once bed and breakfast it felt cozy and charming. The house is filled with various antiques and artwork that you could spend hours looking at and I did. The rooms are set up like a standard motel room. However, you also have the main house with a community living areas such as , a full kitchen and dining area a little lounge that’s kept stocked up and a large living room. The outside is beautiful too with the swimming pool. The room I stayed in was very clean very comfortable. I loved the Jacuzzi and the fireplace. Across the street is the Brick house restaurant and my meal was delicious. I’ll definitely be coming again. It pains me to have to write such a great review because I worry that word will get out about this place and it will become too expensive to stay.

I wish they had a larger ice machine so that you could take ice back to your room when you feel like staying in and making drinks while enjoying the jacuzzi.

the beat up el Camino, sole vehicle in the parking lot. also the driveway entrance had some big potholes that could be easily repaired

We stayed in the Captain's Room. The room was large and very rustic (which we loved). We enjoyed the jetted tub in the bedroom part of the room. The fireplace was a nice addition to the romantic feel of the room. The bed was very large and very comfortable (I'm picky about a bed too). We loved looking at all of the art on the walls in the halls. The bar area was awesome. We opened a bottle of wine and sat near the fireplace and enjoyed looking out at the pond watching the rain.

The curtains in the room need to be updated and big enough to cover the entire window (I would recommend gold velvet). I had to pull out some hair clips to hold the curtains closed as there were people in the back who could see the jetted tub area of the room. I think the room needs another chair as well. It would have been nice to both have a chair with a small table to enjoy drinks and a snack before heading to the tub or bed. I also feel that it could be a bit neater outside in the back (a weekly walk around with a trash bag to clean up).

What an clean and cozy place. So very quaint. Bathroom was impeccably clean. No food available but there is coffee available.

The steep stairs were a little off putting for us. I'm 68 and my husband is 81.so for us it was a little difficult but we made it.

Beautiful house with a large yard for the dogs to explore. The room was spotless, especially nice since not always the case in places that accept pets.

Great place to stay, very pet friendly. Staff = excellent.

Cute, cozy, comfortable and quiet...what more could we ask for. Our dog loved his stay. The back yard was great for him to play in. Would definitely stay here again.

Ice machine needs upgrade. Should add continental breakfast. Improve grounds. Initial room/bed not good. But received a no charge upgrade. Then both were ok.

so unique and individual. was like an art gallery and was so relaxing and welcoming. great pool comfy bar and well equipped kitchen. Room was comfy and clean and comfy bed. Suzie couldn’t help you enough and was so welcoming.
