Clean room, big bathroom, comfy bed and great TV. Location was brilliant.
No ubers could get to it, so be prepared for that. Above a pub so very noisy especially if your room window faces on to the beer garden as ours did. Only 2 tea bags.

Incredible location and fantastic staff. The rooms were cosy and well maintained with easy access.
Outside could be very noisy in the mornings when deliveries are being made, but can’t be helped given the location. They do provide earplugs which help a bit but maybe some secondary glazing could make a big difference.

We were pleasantly surprised by the room which was light and airy. The bathroom was very small but functional. The downstairs roman baths museum was a novel and delightful bonus with a wonderfully knowledgable attendant.
The only downside was the huge racket from the delivery truck that arrived at around 6am on the Tuesday morning and proceeded to load empty kegs and unload full ones very loudly for about 20 minutes in the otherwise silent street. It was impossible to sleep through and seemed needlessly early for such a loud activity.

We stayed on a Friday night and the music was quite loud as a band was playing. However they finished by 11.30pm so it wasn't a problem.
Overall the room was pretty clean but it was let down by dust on the skirting boards and around the plug fittings etc
Also the window didn't close properly - there was double glazing to the sash window however the original wooden window infront of the glazing did not close completely probably due to warping of the wood.
