Clean and quiet room and warm pool was fantastisk

The room was lovely, clean and spacious; beds were comfortable, bathroom was lovely and clean; the outdoor space was beautiful, and a lovely terrace to enjoy breakfast, which was excellent and plentiful. Cindy, the host, is helpful and kind, and pre-arranged bikes for us on request.
A small issue was that the town of Bisseuil is quite small and everything closes early so we really needed to be more organised about having food on hand for dinner when we returned to our accommodation after a day of touring wineries as there were no restaurants open and no way to get food in Bisseuil. A suggestion would be to pre-book transfers to get to Epernay or Ay for a meal. Something for other guests to perhaps note and prepare better than we did :) ... not a negative about Au fil de l’Ô ... which was beautiful.

Cindy is very friendly and the venue is very well located.
Nice swimming pool is a plus.
Room was very quiet and comfy bed which made we had a good night sleep
Our room was not cleaned during our stay. Afterwards we found out that cleaning was only 'on demand'.
This was not explained to us during check-in.
Towels were not changed. Coffee cups were not cleaned, and even essentials like toilet paper (hardly present) were not added. This makes that we find the price rather high for this room.
Also breakfast was ( although paid for) 'on demand' and came in a basket. No eggs were served. Fresh fruit was just a piece of fruit, not a fruit salad so all very basic for a high price.
