We really enjoyed our stay. The location was one of the biggest advantages, it was very convenient for exploring Ortigia.. like 5 min walk to the old town. The hosts were also wonderful, very kind, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was mostly sweet.. like real Italian breakfast. Overall, we had a lovely experience and would definitely recommend Terme Bizantine, especially for the excellent location and the warm hospitality of the hosts.

We enjoyed having the terrace, although we think it would be a great improvement to have some kind of shade there. Especially in the morning, the sun makes the terrace almost impossible to use, which is a shame because it has so much potential. One thing to be aware of is that the parking is free and public. We sometimes had quite a hard time finding a parking spot, especially in the evening. This was probably the only real inconvenience during our stay.
