I'm a professor and I've learned that lists work for retention...so here is my list as to why this is a vacation home that you have to rent: 1. The view is spectacular 2. Huge saltwater pool 3. Every bed is comfortable! - No joke! 4. The town of Hartwell is very cute and has several excellent restaurants 5. There are only 5 homes on the street so it is SO quiet 6. You can walk to a beautiful park right down the street - we did that every morning at sunrise and loved it 7. The bathrooms and kitchen are all top-notch 8. I didn't want to leave the master suite - I got my own closet:) 9. The home has its own boat slip - we rented a boat and loved Lake Hartwell 10. The kids' "playroom" with ping pong etc. is incredible for kids Bonus - I actually relaxed for a full week - too bad that doesn't happen everywhere:-) Thanks for making a paradise for visitors!

This house is absolutely amazing. Exceeded our expectations. Cleanest property and best stocked kitchen we have ever stayed in with VRBO. The pool and hot tub most enjoyable and the view from the lake shore was beautiful! The host was very easy to communicate with and always answered in a timely manner. We look forward to another stay here in our future.

My family and I stayed for an extended weekend as we celebrated my son's graduation from Clemson. The house was beautiful and well maintained. Plenty of space for our 6 person family.

There were twelve of us and the property was ideal inside and outside. The inside was fitted to a very high standard and a bonus was a large, very well equipped games room, which was great fun in the evenings. Outside, the seating area / BBQ kitchen was perfect on a warm evening and the pool area was easily big enough to accommodate all of us and overlooked the lake. We had a great time.

The house was absolutely perfect for our family gathering. It is even nicer than the pictures. The kitchen is a cooks dream and the indoor and outdoor entertaining areas were so enjoyable. The rental experience with the host was great. He was always very responsive and made the check in and out an easy experience. We would love to go back again.

The house is amazing. My family had a great time here and will be keeping this place in mind for next time. 😊

Everyone in our group loved the house, starting with the decor, it has more than you need to make your stay perfect!We wanted to come back in the summer, but the property is booked at times we can visit. If you want to enjoy vacation with your family or friends, you don’t need to look further, you will love this house. Thanks to the owners for making our stay pleasant!

This home felt like a home away from home for the Christmas holidays! The booking and check in process was really easy and the hosts were great with communication. We were so happy to see that the home was decorated for the holidays so it felt very festive. Our whole immediate family was there and it was perfect. Would love to rebook in the summer to take full advantage of the beautiful lake.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home! It had everything we needed to entertain teens, prepare a thanksgiving meal, prepare and eat tailgate food for the games on Saturday, play many board games, watch movies, football and tv! We had a wonderful stay! The view was beautiful! The kids enjoyed the upstairs bedroom, the game room off the garage, and hanging in the hot tub. We truly had a great time and communication with the owner was seamless and easy. He prepared us for the broken ice maker and we were able to keep our glasses filled with two bags of ice from the grocery store stored in the freezer. We were able to cook everything we needed in the bottom oven. The top one was broken while we were there. The owner had also prepared us for that ahead of time. Everything went really well and we had a wonderful stay and hope to come back! Plenty of room for two families and grandmother totaling 11 people.

We have a group of ten ladies that gather annually for a long weekend. This was an excellent location not far from town and groceries. Clean, comfy and a spacious gathering point for large crowds. Superb views of the lake. The inside and outside areas were clean and neat. Gathering areas were great and we had plenty of options for hanging out. We did have some issues that can be easily resolved. Outside TV couldn't get good signal. One of the double ovens did not work and the ice maker was broken so we had to provide our own ice. There were fire ants on the patio and one of our group members received bites all over her feet. We had to go to the store to buy ant killer and treatment because there was none in the house. Overall we would recommend this house for location and amenities.

Absolutely beautiful inside and out. This home has EVERYTHING!

Property is as it is described. Beds were very comfortable. House was beautiful. Location was near town, stores, restaurants, and park areas with boat ramps. Cons were minor: batteries for remotes, need several light bulbs replaced, and ice maker leaking from previous stay so had to buy ice. The only major issue was dock listed was nowhere to be found. We didn't ask it's specific location as ramp was very close, but if you are looking for a place with dock in walking distance I am not sure this is the place. I would stay here again, even with the dock issue. Funny thing! Neighbor likes working on his yard with LOUD equipment. So, be prepared for neighbor running mower, blower, and weedeater multiple days and watching everything you do outside.

We stayed with our kids at this property (ages 24 to 14). The pool was perfect for them. It was a large/great sized pool that actually has a deep end which is sometimes hard to find. The pool area was great with plenty of room for our family. The lake is beautiful and the kids really took advantage of swimming in the lake as well. It's on a quiet cave which made it safe for them while also having a great view of the big part of the lake itself. There were kayaks for use on the lake as well. We had a few unforseen things pop up that were not something that the owners could have expected and they were extremely responsive and took care of everything fast. The house has plenty of room and was well stocked with everything we needed. Grocery stores are also within a 10 minute drive which was also very convenient. We really enjoyed this property and would definitely recommend it.

Home was beautiful just like the pictures. I’ve rented a ton of homes and I think this one was the most stocked I’ve seen. The kitchen has everything you need and then some. We normally bring lots of things for the kitchen and we’re surprised with everything already there. Bed rooms are very nice. Master wing gets 5 stars with those views . Furniture was very comfortable unlike most places. They have 2 extra fridges in the laundry room another great bonus for the chef. Out door area gets 5 stars. Covered areas with fans, great out door kitchen,Tv and hot tub. Tons of seating for eating outside or inside. The pool is a nice salt water pool. It was a retractable top which is a huge bonus at night time since my 3 year old can’t swim I was able to sleep easier. House has a dock not on the property but a couple houses down, it’s a short walk down a wooded trail we’re we saw deer almost every time. My kids did a lot of fishing on the dock and caught some big catfish.Property has a nice beach area right on the lake. You’re able to easily beach your boat there to pick up your squad and supplies. Next door neighbor Vince was a really nice guy,bumped into him at his dock when we checked in. you can rent a boat at Hartwell marina which is about 10 min drive from property and about 15 mins by boat. If you have never stayed at Hartwell this would be a great place to to enjoy the big water which is a stones throw away from the house. Also ingles is the closest store,less then 10 mins away. New York pizza is a must for pizza fans. owner was very friendly and easy to communicate with. He was able to assist with a early check in which is always appreciated. We normally try out different places and rarely return to previous rentals but I think this will be our Hartwell spot for the future.

I went on vacation with my wife and kids at this location. We got there and it was pretty much as advertised and seen in the pictures. We couldn't have been happier with everything. There is a small beach area on the property where we could swim in the lake that wasn't really mentioned or pictured in the listing which was a pleasant surprise. The pool was beautiful and large. The hot tub was clean and very nice. Plenty of outdoor fans to make sitting outside in the shade comfortable even when it's hot outside. So much for the kids to do inside as well with the game room and toys and board games and puzzles. Plenty of TV's everywhere for everyone to find someone they want to watch. Such a large living room and dining area and kitchen. This place is perfect for large parties in every part of the house. The listing also says it sleeps 8 upstairs but only pictures 4 twin beds. Reason is because each twin bed has a trundle bed that pulls out from underneath. The lake is absolutely beautiful and the water is so clear. We rented a pontoon boat for a day and everyone loved it. Thank you so much to Kevin and his team for an unforgettable vacation. They were very helpful, responsive, and informative.

Bella Vista is a beautiful vacation retreat with every amenity a family needs! You could not ask for anything more in a vacation home. The layout provides comfort inside and out, and the natural beauty of Lake Hartwell is food for the soul! Communication with the owner/property manager was excellent! We’ve already booked our return visit for July 2023!

This is a great place for family vacation- pool and porch area inviting with outdoor kitchen. Multiple places in the house to play or just read a book. We had a great week here!

After going to the beach last year, we thought we would try treating our family to something different this year. We found this Lake Hartwell beauty last year and booked it immediately. We had our two grown children, their spouses and babies. This home had plenty of space for everyone. The view was gorgeous. I think we all enjoyed the outside spaces the most … a beautiful outdoor kitchen, hot tub, pool, and TV area. It was lovely!!

There's a salt water pool with diving board, hot tub, included kayaks and fishing gear, as well as a game room with ping-pong, foosball and a huge assortment of games. Every room has spectacular views and TVs. There's plenty of seating inside, outside by the pool and a huge patio in the shade. The kitchen is well-equipped and plenty of fridges and freezers to store all your food. Everything was absolutely perfect and we would 100% stay there again!

This property was absolutely beautiful! Better than we expected. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing, and rented a boat from Hartwell marina. We hope to stay again in the future!

Absolutely nothing bad to say about this home. We wanted for nothing. More than enough room for 7 adults. Outside space was very inviting. Can’t wait to visit during the summer.
