We spent 3 nights at Cobweb Hall. Sally was an excellent host at a really quirky venue and she owns The Highways Inn Pub across the road which is quirky and worth a visit with a lovely vegetable curry.
Cobweb Hall was a real treat with comfortable beds and beautiful bathrooms and beautiful stained glass windows it was like entering another world for a while.
The cottage is directly onto the Moors so very convenient for us to go hiking but it also has a cycle path too.
Thank you Sally for being a great host.

Self catering and very well equiped, spotless, fascinatingly quirky as was their pub. Wonderful owners,genuine and interesting people, couldn't have been nicer.
The only fault, no TV to relax in front of in the evening, nor radio. There is a lovely big TV but you had to sign up to Netflix or something, we don't do Netflix. An ordinary TV would have been better.

It's hard to put into words just how amazing this cottage is. You have to experience it. It is a magical, high fantasy place that is utterly unique. The thing that made it truly outstanding was Sally, the owner. I've never met a nicer or more welcoming person. She was lovely from the start and incredibly easy going. She accommodated changes to arrival and leaving times effortlessly and was fantastic with the children. A really nice person. The location is perfect for exploring the area and the pub over the road was an absolute treat!

Location very good.Walking on Dartmoor directly from the cottage door.Meal in Highwayman pub good.Very pleasant hosts.
At least one of the bathrooms should have had a shower.The kitchen was poor.There should have been more easy chairs in the lounge.Could have done with better lighting.
