Everything it was advertised to be.

The property was amazing. The people around us were very friendly and welcoming. And we had such a great time. Sitting on the front porch was the best.

Yes it was hot outside but the key is quite breezy which mitigates the heat. There were some mosquitoes outside the house, which are common in Florida, but not noticeable in other parts of the key. Loved the fenced in yard for our dog. Very convenient to everything, Prickly Palm maybe 50 steps for breakfast, coffee. Everywhere to eat is within walking distance and there are many. Folks there don’t pay much attention to social media so don’t count on the open/close hours you google being accurate, it depends on the crowd and the availability of wait staff, call to verify. This is a small fishing village at heart, not a beach resort.

The upgrades and improvements were impressive and very much appreciated. We did experience a few hiccups early in our stay with the cooling system and the television operation. One problem we encountered was the telephone number for the management company: we used the number on the instructions to report problems but apparently our call didn't get through their answering service to them. Once they were aware of the problems, they sent servicemen out to resolve the issues quickly and efficiently.
One thing we did notice was that the hot water was much too hot (scalding actually).

We spent the weekend celebrating our anniversary and could not have been happier with the cottage! Cottage had everything we needed including firewood! Exceeded expectations across the board and we will defiantly be back!

Was the perfect place for the 4 of us! We rented a golf cart & explored the island & met the friendly locals. Our neighbor was very welcoming too! We loved the laid back pace & now consider this our secret spot. We will definitely stay at this cottage again as it had everything we needed & more & we loved the setup & decor & mostly the location!

My husband and I stayed at the property for two nights. The property was very clean and as shown in the photos. The house is in the perfect location. We walked to anything we needed in town. The bed was very comfortable, and the living room was great for relaxing and watching a show in between our adventures in the area. If you book this property, you will not be disappointed.

Relaxing stay!
Very close to everything in downtown Cedar Key, literally around the corner from shops and restaurants. Everything is within about a ten minute walk. Very neat and tidy house in a quiet neighborhood. What was even better was no list of chores to do when you left! Run the dishwasher, take out the trash, and turn in the keys - very easy!

Great cottage!
This cottage was perfect for our family. Nice and clean, washer/dryer, big kitchen. We loved the location to walk to 1842 and Prickly Palm for breakfast. Would stay again for sure!

Very Nice
The backyard was completely closed in and secure so it was safe for both my toddler and dog. This is a rare find for a Cedar Key rental and was the biggest plus. Also, it’s one story which was a plus. Everything was clean and cutely decorated.

Much Needed Relaxing
After a very stressful work week. My friends and I decided to go to our favorite spot for a quick last minute trip. It was much needed and enjoyed every minute. We have stayed at many places in Cedar Key and this is by far one of our favorite homes.

A true gem
Had a great stay at Seafoam. The property was exactly as described. I parked my car on arrival and didn't drive again until departure. The 1842 coffee shop was less than a block away, beach (tiny as it was) was less than a 10 minute walk as well as all the restaurants on Dock Street. The bikes were a nice perk. Enjoyed quite a few rides. Thank you for a lovely week!

HIDDEN GEM 💎
Everything you would want in a rental getaway! House was pleasantly done in a coastal theme. A well stocked kitchen, bedrooms with really comfortable beds and living room made for lounging or games. Backyard was well secured for our fur kids and invited us to enjoy being outdoor with a good degree of privacy given that this house is right in town. The location couldn’t be better! Set back from the road...don’t be fooled by this unassuming looking building, it’s a hidden gem! It had one drawback... a very frustrating, outdated Roku TV system without cable or satellite.
