Comfortable stay, the pool area was lovely and the beach we had deeded access to was tops for the key. Owner was very responsive to questions during our stay.

We loved all of the little extras with this place; beach chairs, floaties, the outside shower is awesome!
The location is fantastic to the beach, restaurants etc.
The one thing I think is important to note is that the twin beds, I beleive, are kids beds. So my 6’ tall son was not fitting in the bed really well. But all in all…awesome rental! Beautiful vacation. Would definitely go back!

House was amazing and just what we were looking for. Spent hours upon hours in the pool and you could see the bay as you floated in the water. House has everything you would need and more. Beach was a short walk away. Golf cart shuttle will pick you up and drop you off to any restaurant up the road. Awesome happy hour specials at all the bars with Lock & Key bring the most fun with the scratchers. Already planning a return trip!

When we first arrived at the property the front lock didn’t work, we contacted the owner and they sent someone to try to fix the lock twice. We were left with one key which wasn’t a big problem because we could just go to the back door to let ourselves in because the sliding doors didn’t lock at all. There was also no hot water in the guest bathroom.

This rental was absolutely lovely and just what we were looking for! As seen in the pictures, it is not state of the art, but rather gives that true Florida feeling you had when you were a child. The location was great… We walked to the beach every day along the quaint, private path. The kids started and ended every single day in the pool. At one point the property manager came by to check on the pool, and she was absolutely fabulous to chat with. No complaints at all… The only recommendation I would have is if you like or need a softer pillow to bring your own. I ended up going out to purchase one and Left it in the home for future guests. Overall exactly what we were hoping for! Thank you so much!!

Our family stayed at the property and had an awesome experience. Management was responsive and helpful. House was well stocked and clean. Great location with the beach just short walk from the property where we found lots of shark teeth! Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay here was idilic. The beach was minutes away via a private foot path and the pool at the house perfect. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and private. The house was roomy and had all needed to make our 3 week vacation stress free and relaxing. Would have booked it for next year but someone beat us to it :)

We had a great time at this property. We truly enjoyed being so close to the beach as well as having a private pool. We spent most of our time outside in the pool or looking for shark teeth at the beach. We walked down the beach to the restaurants twice for lunch! Our family truly enjoyed this area and cute little rental house.

This property was a great place to stay for our family. It was a quick walk to the beach and the pool was great for big kids during little one’s naps. It was a quick drive to Blind Pass Beach, great paddle boarding locations (Bill Coy Preserve at Buck Creek was our favorite), and hiking spots. The kids loved finding shark teeth and fishing from the shore. We reeled in a small bonnethead shark by surprise! The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. It made for a simple and enjoyable vacation! Kirsten was also quick to help us the one time we needed something.

Perfect place to stay on Manasota Key. Comfortable house and the private pool is great to have. The kids had a blast in it. Spacious. Very short walk to the beach. Included a guide book on the property with nearby restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this place.

Private beach and pool!
We had the best time at this house. Our kids are 8 and 10, so they loved being able to have access to the beach multiple times a day since it was such a short walk. They would shower off outside then go swimming while I made lunch every day. The trees in the back allowed them to take a break from the sun while swimming. Nice there were coolers and beach chairs and toys there, so we didn't have to pack our vehicle with all of those extra things that bring sand home. It's about a mile from a few great restaurants, a convenience store,, and 2 shops, small town feel. If you do not want to park/walk, there is a golf cart that will pick you up and deliver you home for a tip (check hours). We drove to venice a couple of nights, but did enjoy quiet, quaint Island feel. Would definitely rent here again!

Sand Dollar Heaven
We loved every minute of our five week stay at this darling beach bungalow! I'll start with the location because it was perfect for us - a short walk to a beautiful quiet beach and close to bars and restaurants. The house was exactly as pictured. The furniture was very comfortable throughout the house, and it was equipped with plenty of everything that we needed. The layout with the main bedrooms being on opposite sides of the house is great for 2 couples. We spent a lot of time enjoying the very nice pool area with a view of the bay. Kristen was very sweet and just a text away if we had any questions. Loved this house and would love to stay again.

Super close to beach, loved that. Within walking distance to some good shops.
Didn't use the pool much due to an issue with the heater but Kirsten and Kate were super responsive and helpful. The house is nice, a little older but clean. Would have loved to have had some sort of a wagon to go to the beach.

Three generations
My daughter, my mother and myself spent 7 wonderful days together in this lovely Florida home. We walked the beach every morning and swam in the amazing pool each afternoon. The house was beautiful and had everything we wanted to make our trip perfect! We made use of the puzzles and games that the owners provided most evenings after watching the sunset. We will definitely be back! Thanks so much for sharing your slice of heaven with us!

Perfect for family vacations
We had a really good time at the Sand Dollar. It is nice, clean and well equipped. The kids had a lot of fun in the pool. The location is quiet and relaxing. The beach is only a few minutes walk from the house. The owners were very friendly and responsive. It is a perfect place for family vacations.

We absolutely loved this house! The location was fantastic, just a couple of minutes walk away from beautiful beach. Kirsten was fantastic in handling a small issue (resolved so fast that it was a non-issue!). The house had everything needed for a comfortable stay and the pool area is just heavenly.

We loved the area of this house. Walking distance to the beach, and waterway with dolphins! Beautiful trees in yard, amazing pool, perfect island. House was comfortable, beds were amazing, a/c worked great. We made great memories here!
