Excellent location for walking into town. Welcome pack was generous and much appreciated. Great to have off road parking on a busy street. Good to have a garden too. Beds were comfortable. Check in and out was straightforward. Value for money.

Little changes would make a big difference to overall impression. Had to hunt for towels and one was stained. Light switches in bathrooms were dirty. Bedrooms would benefit from little waste baskets. The fridge door shelf was broken. Downstairs back area really needs better lights and some curtains for privacy at night. The stairs to the garden are a bit unstable. However the biggest issue was the fact that people keep coming to do the garden/hot tub and needed access through the house. This should surely be done on changeover. We didn't even benefit from this as the grass was very long for most of our stay and we didn't use the hot tub.

Love The willows. Warm welcome, clean and fresh. Comfortable beds,. Off road parking. Nice touches of having bread, milk, eggs, butter and a cake!! Fantastic location near the town, park, leisure centre. Hot tub, hot and clean. The host is very accommodating. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Lots of modern appliances, fast internet, and the hosts had provided essential groceries before our arrival (butter, milk, eggs... even a cake!). Has a real comfy cosy vibe to it. We really enjoyed the hot tub on a hot day, very relaxing. The house is also great walking distance to the town centre of Melton Mowbray.

The house feels like it needs some TLC; the bathroom door gets a bit stuck/jammed as you open and close it (like kind of scraping along the floor), meaning if you need the loo overnight, you're going to wake up everyone else. The front bedroom is not very soundproof either and, as it seems like Ankle Hill is a busy cut-through, you are going to hear traffic a lot through the night. At one point, I thought the windows had been left open because it was that loud but nope, all closed. Might be worth bringing earplugs if you are audio sensitive/autistic like myself.
