Green View Hotel Near Dartford

Plenty of space in our room. Booked as a twin, but had a double and a single bed. Corner room with windows on two walls. Good space for luggage storage at base of wardrobe. Sockets by bed. Fridge in room. Bottled water and usual coffee facilities and biscuits. Very clean. Very friendly reception staff.

No soap in dispenser in shower. Nowhere to hang towels - just a very small towel heater rack in bathroom, good for hand towel. We piled our bath towels on top of the hand towel. Over the top of the shower screen would have worked after both people had showered, if at least one of the room occupants was tall enough to do this easily. A notice at reception giving two numbers to call if any help was needed. On phoning the first one, the person who answered said that they were at home and I should not call them; I should call a different number. On calling the other number, the message was that nobody was available to take the call. We waited and, while it was not too long before someone returned to the reception, the experience had been a bit awkward (being almost 'told off' for calling a number that was given at reception as the number to call, was rather unpleasant).

THEY DO NOT PROVIDE FOOD, I PRESUME BECAUSE THE RESTAURANT ON-SITE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION. FOR THE PRICE THE ROOMS ARE COMFORTABLE, THE NOISE POLUTION MINIMAL AND, ALL IN ALL, A GOOD NIGHT'S STAY. I HAVE STAYED TWICE IN THE LAST TWO WEEKS.BROUGHT IN MY OWN FOOD.

MINOR GRIPE...ON BOTH OCCASIONS THERE WAS NO SHOWER GEL IN THE SHOWERS DESPITE HAVING A DISPENSER. HAD MY OWN WITH ME SO REAL ISSUE.

Lovely staff, ok room

Not much

The room was not clean and a full blown argument was taking place in the car park, not far from a full on fight. Not comfortable feeling.
