Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my third time staying in this unit. It is very comfortable and has many amenities to make your stay enjoyable. The kitchen is fully stocked. I love to cook and it was nice have most everything I needed to make a wide variety of dishes. The home is well maintained and kept very clean. One small suggestion....switch to keyless entry.

You can hear the music from the bars at night f from the front bedroom . but this did not keep my children awake or ourselves. Beautiful ocean views, and easy access onto the beach. The only "downside" was that when watching the sunrise in the morning, the condos next door block the view of the sun coming up over the water/pier . We would definitely return to this unit . Apple Maps took us to the wrong location along the street (, The condo Unit next-door). The information given to us by property management company was just generic for company. It would've been nice to have unit specific information so as to your locate the building as well as understand where we are supposed to park. I did not see any information inside the unit about Wi-Fi. Could not remember if that was advertised or not. We had good cell service so it was not an issue.

Great apartment, friendly and quick service

The condo is beautiful, wonderfully decorated and well equipped. The location is perfect and the elevator is appreciated! We loved it! Our only beef was with the Vacasa management. We’ve dealt with Avocet in the past, and they were wonderful. Vacasa was slow to respond, and rude at times. But the condo itself, 5 stars!

This condo is in a great location, right across from beach access and beautiful views! When we walked inside we loved how updated and the tasteful decorations. When we had a rainy beach day the kids played in the front private patio area! We will be staying in this condo again!

My favorite spot was the back deck. After a day on the beach, it was like still being on the beach but without the sand and water. The condo was clean, well taken care of and up-to-date. The front porch was a bonus. Private and plenty of room to put all your beach items. Enjoyed our stay here at Folly Beach. Will be back for sure.

We love Ocean Point Villas. We’ve stayed in until 302 before and this was our first time in 301. Unit 301 is beautiful, extremely clean and has everything you need for a vacation at the beach.

We used this stay as our escape from home, post Covid-19 lockdown, and man it was awesome! It is a 30-second walk to the beach, 9-minute walk to any restaurant in town, super private with the massive outdoor dining table on one end and the 4 seater table on the other, and very well stocked with cooking supplies and other bonuses such as the beach wagon that came in clutch! We really enjoyed this trip and my 1-year-old's first trip to the beach was a massive success (even with him attempting to eat a sea shell haha). We plan to fight to book this place on a regular basis!

Such a beautiful, well kept condo with a great view of the ocean. Walking distance to the restaurants and shops as well.

Great location and oceanfront view. Furnishings showing some age/wear. Fitted sheets on master bedroom bed didn't fit at all. Nice and clean overall. Elevator to this third floor condo did not work after day one of a seven night stay.

This condo was perfect. Beautiful view of the ocean/beach, and it’s only a few blocks from basically every restaurant and bar on Folly. We parked our car at the condo and didn’t move it until we left. The pier is also only a few hundred yards away. I only wish we had stayed longer. We will next time😄

Very clean, relaxing, home away from home. Staying here made it hard to want to go into Charleston to do things. We just wanted to hang out at our beach house all day every day!

The entire stay was affected by the fact that the elevator to the THIRD FLOOR did not work. Even though the place was nice, location was fine, parking was good, etc., that's what I expected, which is why I rented the place for week. The elevator did not break. It worked the first day. I talked to the guys working on it, who told me that it was a scheduled repair, not an emergency one. I'd specifically asked the agent at Avocet if there was a working elevator and was told yes. I wasn't told of any planned repairs beginning the second day of my week-long stay. They should have taken care to let me know what was what with that. It can't be that they didn't know. They manage the building. I had elderly family and friends who either weren't able to visit, or visited once and could not come back. There were other family members who had physical difficulty managing the 72 stairs up to the 3rd floor- including myself- particularly coming up from the beach or from food shopping... I've never written a review before. But this was a very bad thing that really affected us. We were there for a wedding, and invited many people to stay at Folly Beach and visit with us, the parents of the groom. It really put a huge damper on things, and presented a physical hardship to a number of people. It turned a nice place into a nice place in a BAD BUILDING As t was a scheduled maintenance, not a response to a breakdown, we should have been told of that and offered a second floor or an alternative property. Far as I'm concerned, Avocet owes me for really damaging my son's wedding time for us in terms of how much family I was unable to have up to the place, and how difficult others found it to climb all those stairs. I'll return to Folly but find a different agency to trust with the arrangements, and suggest to others they do the same.- G. Greene

Really can’t say enough good things about this condo. Sp pretty, beautiful view, lovely deck, awesome beach and can’t wait to rent it again.

Only cons I can think of: no spare paper products, trash bags, toiletries And not that this can be helped, but if you are planning a vacation, you may want to also consider there is no community pool access. The WiFi was too slow to stream music, etc. Otherwise, the facility is very nice. Having an elevator and designated parking are great features that make moving in and out easy. Check in/out is easy too. You’ll want to spend all of your time on the oceanfront balcony.

Nice place. Great relaxation. Could have had an extra garbage bag or two as well as toilet paper. Great location right off the beach with great views!

Loved our visit and will be back! The only thing was the wi fi did not work at the Ocean Pointe Villla 301.
