The apartment was bright, spacious and airy in a building well spaced from other buildings. It was within a short walk of bus stops, bakeries, grocery stores and a good butcher shop so we were easily able to get things we needed.

Well, we had a difficult start by locating the keys to the apartment since there was no one to welcome us. no lock box and communication was horrible. i was forced to pay the deposit via paypal which i was not comfortable doing so. i had to call a number internationally to be able to contact someone. the second room was not really a bedroom it is just a sort of balcony with a day bed. finally we were told to conserve energy as we are going to be charged extra. very stressful.

Very well equipped, clean, quiet apartment block and were given the whats app link to the owners if we needed anything. We paid £30 for a visite travel pass for zones 1-5 for 5 days, it was an absolute bargain; as much train, metro, bus or funicular travel as we wanted during the five days. It even took us to Eurodisney and back. Easy walking distance to local shops and bars, excellent bus service in and around Versailles. Although we did not see any heating or controls, the apartment was very warm and we even had our windows open during the night in early April! We really did enjoy our stay.

We rang when one hour away as instructed but were 10 mins late and the agent would not wait for us :-( We were not given an intro to the property and ended up parking our car for the whole stay in an owners parking place which upset them, they put a note on our car window but we did not use the car at all during our stay so didn't see it until the morning we left. We didn't mind paying E500 as a safety deposit but felt that the property should have been checked together upon arrival, the deposit was returned within a few days.

nothing, the accommodation was canceled a few hours before we (dr. Cerny & dr. Schneider) were supposed to arrive to Versailles. A great greeting to France!

Behavior of the booking office: we had several communications with the office two days before the arrival (planned for Saturday, August 20). We, dr. Cerny and I (dr. Schneider) called informing the office that we can possibly arrive after 22 o'clock in the evening. My last call to the office was at about 15 o'clock on Saturday and I was assured that late arrival was OK, we just need to call an hour before our arrival. Then, just hour or two before the arrival, we were informed that the accommodation was canceled. We obviously expect full reimbursement of the paid sum and an apology would be a polite minimum.

The first contact was smooth and clear. Everything was arranged via the phone from getting the keys, entry code, till paying the deposit. It was easy to find and the parking was immediately on site. The apartment was clean and has all amenities needed. The neighbouring lady was very friendly and helpful, good neighbourhood!

The building is old and you can hear the neighbours talking or closing doors. But after 10PM it was silent. It made me walk on tip toe though.
