Such a beautiful house! It’s very clean, modern, and warm in the Faroe unpredictable weather. We loved the long shoehorn by the door. The kitchen has an induction cooktop- our first time using one and it’s amazing. The foyer floor is heated. The wooden inside doors, and the wooden staircase inside are gorgeous. The living room is comfortable and great for watching Netflix at night, and has a beautiful view of the village. You can easily walk to the village and the hikes around the gorge - we walked to the guesthouse and had the fish soup for dinner, and it was EXCELLENT! The village was like living in the pages of a storybook.

The house is great for families (parents with children), but not as perfect for adult friends traveling together. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are upstairs and have built-in twin beds with a thinner mattress over a wooden built-in frame. Great for children, but not quite as comfortable for adults. We’d still stay here again, and maybe rotate sleeping upstairs.

Great house in a great location.

It was all great but remember to take your groceries with you.
