We had a fabulous time in this amazing hotel. All of the staff were just wonderful lovely people who made us feel so welcome. Anabela welcomed us as though we were family. This incredible hotel was a two and a half year renovation labour of love. Simply beautiful and stunning in every possible way. Breakfast was superb. We took full advantage of Lennin who is attached to the hotel and runs a modern, comfortable taxi and took us everywhere! Two airport runs and two incredible day trips. His knowledge of the local area and best spots to visit and also eat were second to none. Such a friendly, warm man who spoke excellent English. Great value for money as well compared to any available organised trips. Feeding wild humming birds by hand in Mindo is an experience we will never forget. I simply cannot recommend this hotel high enough, it is exceptional in every possible way. Thank you.

Very helpful staff if you need help planning the next stage of your trip, how to get around, or public transit. Good location, close to the sites of Quito and good restaurants, or just cheap satisfying almuerzos. I lost my phone the day I arrived and the staff were very helpful. One of them took me to a trustable shop where we purchased an external battery for my burner phone. I very much appreciated that!

After dark the neighborhood is very sketchy. But you can work around that. And the street it is on is fine.
