Great location to downtown Jackson!!

Our stay here was great! Parking was easy, location was convenient, and it was a good value for the price.

Very good location for getting in and out of the area. Ample parking available even if it wasn’t assigned. Loved that everyone had their own room/bathroom and each floor had some sort of common area as well with a fridge. Unit is older/well worn but very clean so that made up for it. Loved the grocery delivery option which was a lifesaver because nothing is open if you get into Jackson after 10 pm. Plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, towels, which was nice for a change. So many places skimp on these items despite us paying premiums to stay there. Overall, set up is much better for groups with adults or older kids. Each level had access to the outside so a bit of a safety concern with small kids. The no AC issue became a factor as it got hotter. Didn’t feel safe leaving windows open since people could access the windows from the outside. Got up to 77 degrees on the main floor. The lower floors weren’t much better. Probably wouldn’t rent this unit again the summer because of this but otherwise had no concerns. Would have been a lot cheaper to stay in a hotel but having space at the end of the day was really nice.

It was very difficult to find the rental. The address listed took us to a parking lot with no idea where the rental was located. After studying Google maps for awhile we were able to take some back roads that looked like it would wrap around to the back side of the rental. This is how we finally located the property. It is not well marked at all and is confusing as the numbering system is way different than all the other apartments around it. There is no air conditioning in the rental which is clearly stated in the description. However when we went to open the windows to cool off the property one screen in the upper living room was ripped open. The other window screen in the upstairs living room was completely gone. So they were both unusable. The remaining upstairs window screens were either bent and did not fit well or ripped. The front door is difficult to open even with entering the correct entry code. The upstairs bathroom shower curtain was dirty and stained. The second floor and basement floor was better maintained and appeared cleaner than the first level. So overall it wasn’t terrible but I wouldn’t rent it again.
