Kouki Maria Rooms

The rooms looked newly renovated (look on Google). Maria was lovely and her breakfast was truely delicious

The bed is a bit firm but still slept fine

We loved our host and we loved the location. It was spotless and the breakfast was amazing

We had a lovely stay at Maria's. The location is perfect, within walking distance of both Artemonas and Apollonia. The room was neat and comfortable, with a good bathroom and a beautiful terrace offering sea views and breathtaking sunrises. The highlight of our stay was the delicious homemade Greek breakfast served on the terrace each morning. Enjoying local treats while looking out at the sea was the perfect way to start the day.

A few things to keep in mind: parking is available nearby, but you'll need to walk about 5 minutes and carry your luggage up and down the village stairs. In the summer heat, this can be a bit challenging with large suitcases. We also found the property a little difficult to locate at first, but the friendly locals helped us find it quickly. That said, these are minor points compared to the overall experience. We would gladly choose this place again when visiting Sifnos

Maria was a wonderful warm host, who went above and beyond at every opportunity to show genuine hospitality. Do not miss homemade breakfast on the terrace with fresh eggs from Maria’s chickens and homemade made cakes and jams, all at an exceptionally reasonable price. Rooms spotlessly clean and more modern than photos illustrate - felt recently refurbished. Location couldn’t be better - right between the main village apolonia and beautiful historic Artemonas - very charming with fantastic restaurants. The view from the terrace over the water to the other islands was breathtaking. The property is reached via approx a 5 min walk up steps. This was a beautiful winding path and didn’t bother us at all - but worth bearing in mind if you have mobility issues/ lots of heavy luggage. We hope very much to be back one day!
