I prefer staying in apartments as it’s far more flexible than a hotel. It also gives me more of a feeling of living in the area rather than just being a visitor.
I also like the convenience of have my poem food and can eat at “home” rather than always at restaurants.

Fantastic location on the Grand Canal with easy access to most places in Venice
Very comfortable bed good quality bedding
Loved having two bathrooms
Having the lift is a bonus
Would have been good to have a microwave
Some of the furniture needs some attention
The white wardrobes and plastic chairs didn’t go with the property but wouldn’t put us off staying there again
Squeaky floorboards

The location was excellent for family of 5 with Kids. Right across the water from the train station.
The floors were super creaky, which wasn’t an issue for us, but could be a problem for others. One of the bathrooms could have been cleaner.

The location was great, and the apartment itself was spacious and comfortable
We had inconsistent WiFi for all 5 days. When we raised this with the staff, they were quite quick to dismiss our concerns and said it was due to the weather and/or maintenance. We understand that it is not specifically their fault that the service was down, and they did send out a technician to take a look at the problem, but the solution seemed to be "we've restarted the router, it should be working now" instead of escalating the problem
Again, we know this is not the company's fault- but we paid for an apartment with WiFi for working, and we did not get it. We had to work in the hotel next door
