Upon arrival I was greeted by a front desk clerk who was very nice and provided me with information on the resort which took just a few minutes, |I then assumed I would receive my room key. Instead I was told in order to get my key I would have to go to the concierge desk. I thought this was odd but when I asked for my key I was kept at the desk for over an hour by an agent putting pressure on me to attend a time share lecture in exchange for some free tickets to local attractions. I kept telling the agent I had a long travel day and was very tired and just wanted to go to my condo and that we were not interested at all but he never let up. I repeatedly asked for my room key and after an hour I had to get mad in order to get my condo key. I was not informed that this would part of the check in to endure this pressure. We understood that the check in would be the same as it would be as at a hotel. I will never stay at a Wyndham Resort again. Also, /i was charged $40 to attend the time share info session that we didn’t attend and we were told that it would be refunded the next day if we gave them notice we would not be attending (which we cancelled the night before). It was charged to my visa on March 2 and it still hasn’t been credited back. |I went to the concierge desk on March 8 to inquire about my credit and the agent told me it wasn't put in their system for processing. If this is part of the check in process, then it should be communicated to those who are considering booking.
