Two couples stayed in the Papa Bear for 2 nights. Owner very nice and friendly. Livingroom good size and King room was good size with bathroom. Parking was easy. Queen room that we stayed in was smaller than expected and bathroom was outside of room and smaller than we like with lavatory with no countertop space and door wouldn’t lock. Washer and dryer located in master bath which made it awkward doing laundry in other couples bathroom. Entry into house used a keypad and would take 3-4 tries to get deadbolt to work. To tight. I didn’t feel it was right for couples but my wife and the other couple who had the big bedroom said it was ok. Hope this helps.

House was fantastic. Had everything we needed and more. Beds were very comfortable. Host were very responsive and provided us with current events during our stay in Cody. Would definitely stay in house again and recommend it.

5 stars for this property and host. Clean, current and well situated. The only thing, and I have to dive deep is the house is on a major street. But, Cody Wyoming in the winter time is not a problem.

We loved this charming little house. 4 of us adults stayed with plenty of room to spare. It was an easy drive to Yellowstone and the town of Cody was fun to shop and explore. We would definitely stay at this house again.

This was a great place to stay! The home was very clean and felt like I was at my own home. This is right at the edge of town but didn’t have any problems with noise. We are already planning another trip this spring and we will for sure be staying here. I would recommend staying here to anyone going to Cody Wyoming!!

My parents and myself enjoyed our stay beginning with the owner greeting us with a warm friendly welcome and suggestions for our visit. Very clean home and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

This house was a jewel. Lovely. Well decorated. Super clean. An excellent hostess who was present to greet us and show us around and answer questions. Even took the time to make us reservations at the Cattleman's Steakhouse. We parked at the house and walked downtown shops and eateries. We ate at Cattleman's Steakhouse-pricey but good. Was an excellent show. The Buffalo Bill Center was excellent. Try the "can you find it?" Game for each of the 5 different " museums". Need to find 6 out of 8 items in each museum to receive a :prize" for that section.
Irma's melodrama shootout on the east side street of Irma's Hotel at 6pm was fun slapstick comedy. Free unless you want to buy a seat. Deer are abundant on side streets. Quite a few people we met stayed in Cody to drive into Yellowstone. Beautiful drive. The Buffalo Bill Dam just outside of Cody-west side- was inyetesting and free. We missed the rodeo! A real treat! We had seen it years before and were disappointed that the rodeo went from nighly to weekend the week we arrived.

The house was adorable and very clean. We only stayed one night, but it would be great for a longer stay as well. The beds were comfortable and good water pressure in the shower. We would definitely stay here again.

The absolute best place to stay. Thousand times better than a hotel. If you visit Cody, you need to stay at the Papa Bear Cottage.

Lovely stay in Cody
This was a perfect place to recover from a week of camping. It was comfortable, well decorated and had everything we needed. Cody is a wonderful place to visit and we would definitely return to this cozy cottage.

Beautiful, exceptionally clean cottage
Amy and Jared are awesome! Jared met us at the cottage to walk through and explain details, the cottage was incredibly clean, had comfy beds and is just adorable. It had everything we needed for our stay. We will be back!

Papa Bear was clean, comfortable and convenient...well appointed and had all the amenities we needed making our stay very enjoyable! Our only regret is that we didn’t plan an extra night.
Communication with the host was hands down the best we have ever experienced.
